@Sophie1  Hi Sophie1 aren't ibis the funniest birds. Birds are such funny creatures in general I love watching the many birds on my walk in the morning it is like many of them never sleep lol.

yes we have lots of Ibis`s up here , see people feeding them , at one place I counted about 40 of them

How about a foot spa? I don't have one myself, it could come in handy.

Although my neighbours prefer to play ear-splitting Boom Boom music - especially at night, when I'm trying to sleep.

@Shaz51 @Sophie1 @Adge  my favourite quirky birds are the plovers. They are sooooo cranky I hear them sqarking in the middle of the night and yet they are up during the morning hours and all day. I have probably told this story but on my walks there is a pair of them that watch the view out onto the bay in the morning. They are such a cute couple of love birds and when I get close they are really put out and squark and fly away angrily as if to say ' how dare you disturb our special time' 😄

@Adge  What are the neighbours like? can you ask them to keep it down to a mild roar? or would that inflame the situation?

Two lots of noisy neighbour, at the side & behind @Bunniekins

They have both set up large outdoor speakers, which is the problem.

If the speakers were inside their house (common courtesy), then it may not be so ear-splitting.

No they are not amenable to turning them down - because they set up outside loudspeakers purposely, to make a loud noise
