I'm sorry @Zoe7 ..... I made it worse for you by starting the crossword this morning, but there is a silver lining I think in being able to air this part of the forum muddle .....

It can be hard to keep the threads "cleanly" on their topic heading ..... because nothing about mi is "cleanly" compartmentalised or defined. Humour is a coping mechanism, as is distraction, as is sharing stories and connecting according to shared experiences.

There can be many reasons why someone doesn't feel safe beyond a particular thread or two ..... and as you have been saying for a while, staying connected on one thread is sometimes all someone can do.

You didn't make it worse Hon - I can choose not to 'visit' that thread - which is what I have done since it started. I chose to answer your post here and know you understand and respect why I did that - so please keep going with the crossword (if you have stopped that is). My particular 'muddle' on here is very complex and has developed over some time - and the majority of it I cannot (and would not) talk about openly here - not just for my sake but for others as well @Faith-and-Hope It is something I need to 'deal' with and I don;t want to bring anyone else into any of it.
