WH would be just as ready to sell him as to leave his mum @Zoe7 ..... no substantial emotional attachment, certainly not enough to compete with S2's needs as he sees them. Wolfie would stay here to protect the property in the short term ..... and we have a gardener / handyman and homis ling term family friend ex-work employee ...... he and his wife love Wolfie and help to look after him, but his nature and main function are as a guard dog. He will cope with us coming and going, b cause the gardener and wife are part of his "pack".

Oh poor Wolfie  but at least there are people who love him and will look after him @Faith-and-Hope It is still sad though! I could not imagine being without little Toblerone but I am very much attached to him (no sh*t hey lol)

And Wolfie is huge @Zoe7 ..... and functions on rocket-fuel ..... not what you would call a companion dog, although he is really lovely on the lead on long walks, I must say.

Maybe should get one of those little robot dogs - would be hilarious walking about Melbourne on a lead lol
