Re: Taking the plunge

It's awful to think that your daughter was on a terrible downward spiral for years @Former-Member
Can't imagine what a nightmare it was for you
So glad it's over for you.
Good luck with going out tomorrow night. So nice that your daughter asked you ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’œ
I don't think I'll be going anywhere. D is too old to have me stalking lol. You know what i mean
Last year I took her and friends to beach fireworks They went off. I sat amongst strangers on my own at the beach. It was nice though.

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Former-Member I am going to get an early night tonight. I go back to work on Tuesday and my job is ok. I do feel sad sometimes that I haven't done better but I try and focus on the fact that I am employed. I am hoping to increase my hours this year, but am a bit apprehensive as it's pretty hard to balance everything in my life now, especially MI which sometimes feels like a full time job on its own. Sleep well!

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member@Maggies Magical Garden sounds perfect, and you are right, magic happens there. That was my lunch and tea yesterday, the spuds. It's all I eat mostly, Irish as, it's in more than the genes. Your recipe does sound yummy, nothing like a good spud I say.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

@Former-Member Your new home sounds perfect, something different to do each day with new people to meet. Golf and duck...I thought that was cricket.lol.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Seriousely though, the new year is looking good for you, just getting through the move will be a tricky part.

I can see why you are making such an effort for D tonight. Your love shines through there and she knows just how much you do love her. I hope there's a small space just for you so you can enjoy the fireworks and feel a little excitement.

Its 6am and I'm half way round watering my magical garden.

I went for a short drive with my neighbour yesterday afternoon. She suffers from MI also and is making great strides to help herself as much as she can. Going out is huge for me, the hermit, but I wanted to just give her a helping hand. Maggie had a run around the park. My neighbour is getting two pups today. I'll post pics if it's ok with her. Life is about to change for her, I'm hoping for the better.

Its time to move the hose to another location. What are your plans for the day ahead??๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’œ

Re: Taking the plunge

Well good on you @greenpea, that's a big step forward. I hope you see/meet some exciting things out there.

Another cool day here, nippy even, heading to the shower then think about.....vacuuming..

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie @greenpea It's good to hear from you. Sometimes I just don't have much to say, or it comes out negative. Nevertheless, I feel solidarity just knowing forum people are here. Hope your day has some positives.

Re: Taking the plunge

@frog Ditto there my froggy friend xx

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie Ahhhh I always find something interesting in the ghetto where I live ... you ask @Former-Member about my adventures at night as I wander through the streets where I live ... never a dull moment Smiley Wink

Re: Taking the plunge

Yea @frog same here, not good with words but a hi goes a long way.

@greenpea Sounds interesting, is it safe????? Well I have done some vacuuming, how good is that. Still the bedroom to go, but I've made a start. Plenty day left to finish off.
