@Sunnyside226 that's ok, it's something we can look at doing. @AuntGlow @rav3n can help with that aswell.

 

But for right now what's something we can do to help? Is there something we can chat about that will help to calm you down. Maybe even try a grounding exercise if you like?

hey @Sunnyside226 i'm here too. i know that sick feeling is awful, but please know that it's okay. it's hard to chat about SI sometimes, and i get that it can make us feel pretty sick and panicky. 

 

what would help you feel safe tonight?

 

like @Dreamy mentioned, it might be good to take a few deep breaths and maybe do a grounding exercise. let's all look around our room and name 5 things we can see?

 

for me, it's 

  1. a scarf
  2. coffee mug
  3. laptop
  4. books
  5. headphones

what about for you?

@rav3n @Sunnyside226 i have pencils, my picture that I'm colouring, Casper's toys, Casper himself and my weighted blanket.

@Dreamy  it's knowing I have a plan etc when the lady asked I said I miss mum her birthday is coming up   I feel shaky  and sick   

 

I can chat about anything.   I may not reply straight away I'm having a crying

@Sunnyside226 i know it's hard right now and it's ok to be feeling this way. Our bodies react in many ways when there's alot going on, it's just a matter of being able to try and bring out minds out of that state and slow things down. 

 

It's also completely ok to cry and sometimes it can really help to get things out. 

 

Did you get a chance to do any colouring today? I'm about to do some of mine.

It's so lovely to see @Dreamy support you so beautifully tonight @Sunnyside226

She's asking all the same questions I would, so let's keep working towards that sense of grounding, and reminding yourself that calls about safety really are vulnerable and confronting, so it's okay that you panicked. It was a lot. 💗

What I am hearing is that mum might be a trigger here... it makes sense that big feelings would be coming up around this; letting yourself feel and express them is allowed, okay? I am sure this is really, really hard. 

I am curious, what do you think this scared part of you needs most right now?

I don't really know how to answer that @Dreamy   it's all dark and loud.  Right now I'm trying to make it through the night

@Sunnyside226 that's ok, you don't have to answer it and it's ok to not know right now. Focusing on this moment and getting through it is enough.
