@Dreamy  Thank you lovely. Sending hugs.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Thanks @Cuddlebear, sending hugs to you aswell ♥️

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy   How are you today lovely? It’s really good you made the phone call. 🙂 I hope that today brings you some relief.

My day was really hard yesterday. Today isn't better at the moment. I really hope that I get some relief it’s hard living like this.

I have surgeon of podiatry today. So that will take all my energy to do. At least I’ll get out of the house though. 🙂

Whats on for you today?

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Cuddlebear i really can't answer that question today.

I'm sorry yesterday was really hard, I hope today picks up for you even if it's only a little bit.

Good luck with your appointment today, I'll be thinking of you. It will be good to get out of the house for a bit so I hope you at least enjoy that part.

I have nothing on today but I somehow have to find the strength to be sociable tonight, not sure how I'm supposed to do that.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  Yes it will be good to get out of house.

I hope it picks up for you too. I realise it’s very hard having to go out and socialise. For me leading up to going out is overwhelming but once I go it settles a bit especially if my mind is distracted by listening to conversations etc. It will be a nice thing to see people who know though. You deserve to have some company and not be alone at home.

does anything help when you have a social event to attend?

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Cuddlebear when I say being sociable, I mean just sitting in a room full of people being noisy and talking to each other. I don't actually interact with anyone, just awkwardly sit in silence trying not to have a panic attack cos I get sensory overload. So I'll have Casper with me and I usually put my ear buds in to drown the noise out while I wait the hour out.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Thankyou @Dreamy

They are life affirming

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy   It’s good you can take Caspar. That’s a huge help. The idea of headphones to help with all the noise is really good too. I didn’t realise it was that sort of social thing. I’m sorry it’s an overwhelming activity and doesn’t take into consideration people’s needs to be able to actually participate. Sensory overload is really hard to experience and I wish accessibility was considered so thwt everyone can feel more comfortable.

Are you on your way now? How has the afternoon been for you?

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~
