@Blackcloud oh that's super frustrating. Why can't things just be the same everywhere, would make life alot easier sometimes.
I've never had to deal with student accommodation so I'm not sure how any of it works but it sounds complicated. Paying monthly instead of fortnightly seems odd to me but I guess they have different reasons for the way they work it out.
Hope it all works out for you, I know it can be stressful to deal with. But hopefully once it's sorted that stress won't be so much for you.

@Dreamy exactly, and now it seems that I'll need to get an NBN plan instead of using the new accomodations public wifi??😭😭 such a rip off!! I feel like im getting scammed lowkey lol.
that's why I need to make a budget to figure out a way that I'll need to spend on things that I would usually (or would sometimes need to) spend on. The good thing is within the past few months, I've been able to cut down on things that I would used to spent on a monthly basis to now spending them once every few months - one of them being the skincare/body care stuff and have been using those a bit less than usual too. I've also been relying on meal delivery plans recently which also helped me to not spend my money on buying foods to eat along the way on a regular basis, but I now aim to meal prep my own meals this time by cooking and relying on my mums cooked food.
But even with all of those, I don't know how well I'm gonna manage the budgeting even with the amount of stuff that I've now count down on spending and am spending less often on.

@Blackcloud oh that just sucks having to organise getting an nbn plan instead of just being able to use public wifi.
You really are actively working this out though so you should be super proud of yourself. The fact that you are budgeting and cutting down on things really shows your strength and commitment to this new change.
I know it feels like it's still going to be a struggle but I think you are doing everything possible to give yourself the best chance at things working out.
Take a breath and keep doing the amazing job you are doing. I believe in you and have faith that all will work out ok ❤️

@Dreamy thanks so much, I've been stressing out about it this morning to the point where I just wanna lock myself in my room for longer and rest/sleep for longer too whenever I'm feeling that type of way.
Thankfully I didn't have to do that (being in my room and sleeping for longer) this morning ❤️

@Blackcloud it's understandable you would be stressing about it. Just take things one little step at a time, you are doing an incredible job at managing all this.
I'm glad you didn't have to do that, well done. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️

by the way guys I’ve managed to cook my very first meal from a recipe without having the OT or support worker’s assistance 🥹🥹 the whole thing including the preparation(cutting up ingredients) + cooking took like about almost an hour I would say. I’m eating it right now and it seems alright/quite decent from the taste of it, not necessarily the best or the greatest. Maybe it’s just the taste of the soy sauce that’s giving me that impression. It’s called chicken and courgette fried rice and ive got the recipe from an app (or a website) called Good Food 😊

@Jynx thank you, i really hope i can make cooking apart of my routine now, even if im gonna mess up a few or some parts up during the process which i've already did for this one but it's just the beginning 🫠 the struggles as a rookie are real!!
