Hi, my name is j I like skating and surfing but also football, canoeing, martial arts, and other sports. Football, surfing and skating are the sports I do most though. I used to go on here but now reconnecting after a break.
A good place to start then @surfandskate Currently watching the Big Bash (or waiting for any play because it is raining) so happy to chat. Never been surfing but love to watch it - do like taking my kayak out but it has been a long time since I have done that too. What footy team do you follow? My team are the Lions, @Former-Member follows the Swannies, @Scarecrowe Carlton and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) @MDT is Swannies also.
@Zoe7 I go for the North Melbourne Roos!! I don’t know much about cricket but I hope it starts soon. I like sharing the enjoyment of canoeing, surfing, skateboarding with others!

I don't know much about skating or surfing but do like to watch it. Do you canoe in still water or rapids? I am soley a still water, cruisy paddler. I have a relatively small kayak but it suits me 'cos I am (relatively) small also lol I take my dog with me with his little yellow life jacket on.
@TAB replying to you here as been talking about cricket here too. My boys have started really well. It is a reduced overs match and we certainly looked like we would not even be in the race but we have 2 quick wickets so anything could happen. Not overly confident still but there is a little hope.
@Zoe7 I’m the same, I go in flat water, my partner has a little boy and he’s at an age now where I can start to take him on some of my little adventures which is awesome, he also has a tiny life jacket just like your dog haha
That is really cool @surfandskate The tiny little life jackets are so cute and great that your partner's little boy can go with you now too. Kids are full of adventure and wonder and it seems like you have both of those too so he is a lucky boy. Toby's life jacket has a little handle on the top so it is easy to pick him up out of the water if he jumps (falls) in. He is a good boy though and sits on my lap while I paddle - it is not easy to do but I get so much pleasure out of my fur baby and love having him with me when I can.
