Hi all the arty people out there
Im expandibg more on learning how to draw
Ive recently brought water colours
Can you please give me tips and dos and donts of this sort of pencil?
When drawing do you use the water colours draw the whole pic then paint over in water or do you do it in sections?

It's possible to paint over oil pastels with water-based paints @outlander .... and depending on whether chalk pastels contain any oil-based or clay additives to assist their structure and the mark they leave on the page, it may be possible to paint over those too .....dunno .... I haven't tried with chalks, but oil pastel resistant is a mixed media painting technique often used in primary school art classes.
