Fell asleep again @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member I have no doubt that won't be the last nap I take today.
At this stage I should be okay to go back to work tomorrow. The pain has significanty reduced to more an uncomfortable feeling now. I am able to move my wrist a lot better without any pain and sitting is a lot easier on my back. Tomorrow no doubt will be hard to get through but I really want to go back so I will need to put up with any pain then rest when I get home. I am hoping to get the whole week's planning done today so I don't have anymore to do during the week.
I do not know who was filling in @Former-Member I know the Tuesday was covered by a teacher already in the school but the rest of the days I do not know. Hopefully they have left some notes on what they have done with the kids I haven't yet had a chance to do any notes myself for relief teachers - I don't know the kids well enough yet and no-one could have predicted that I would be off so early in the term. I hope the kids were okay - I suspect they would have been becuse they are a lovely bunch of kids.
Don't worry Hon - not doing anymore than I need to today. I do need to pack some things in the car but am going to ask one of the cleaners to help me get things out tomorrow. It is only baskets, a small plastic stand and some other things for the classroom - so not heavy but will take a few trips. I am going to go in really early to get some things organised before the kids get there (displays mostly)...again all things that will take time but not be a strain on my back. I also have some printing to do - the things I have designed over the last couple of days - then I can laminate tomorrow night and put up Tuesday. I have meetings after school tomorrow and Tuesday and GP Wednesday so the next few days are going to be long ...then Cat to the vet Friday so a long week ahead. Getting organised for the week therefore is a priority today so I have down time when I am home this week.
Footy is on this afternoon - my AFLW Lions are playing so that will be complete rest time for me. I'll then get an early dinner and hope for an early night so I can het up early to get to work super early also.
I hope everyone has an esay day too and that you get some quality time with your fur babies

@Former-Member he is a mixed dward with straight up ears :D. white with black splodges. He found a honey coloured bunny once and nursed her back to health and she ended up being very vicious :o! maybe she was a wild bun too. We couldnt keep her with the other rabbits as she was too wild so we sent her to a refuge in Victoria!!!!:o long story .......

Hi @Zoe7 @Former-Member @greenpea ..... anyone else around .....
Its "funny" you should say that re WH @Former-Member. I did go to church, and when I came home I couldn't find Nelly anywhere. I called, searched the room thoroughly ..... it had taken some time and it was unusual even if she was asleep or hiding that she wouldn't respond eventually.
My mind did wander to WH, as I really don't know him at all, now that he has switched to being someone else entirely ..... but no, he doesn't have a key, would not have had the chance to copy one of the kids' keys, and doesn't accompany them to the apartment. It's also unlikely the kids have mentioned Nelly to him. I think they will want him not to know, like we don't want to know about his new life either ......
So where was she, my little princess ??! In the wardrobe !! In desperation I had opened the door because it was the only place I hadn't checked, and I still don't know how she got in there ..... must have batted the door open enough to get in, then have it close on her.
She was a bit miffed too, like it was something I had done ..... lol ๐

Oh @Faith-and-Hope I can imagine your heart sinking and the thoughts you would have had. The little sweetheart was there though so such a relief. My previous cat did exactly the same thing a few times. I had a built in cupboard the was way above the ground and she somehow manage to jump up, open the door and snuggle in with the door closing behind her also. They are amazing animals and can work out so much. The lovely thing is Nelly is already snuggling into your things so she must feel very at home with you. I also love how you are already calling her your little princess - it has been such a very long time coming but you have your cat ...and she seems to know she is Home

Ohhh @Faith-and-Hope ... like @Zoe7 I can well imagine your rising panic when you were unable to find your naughty Nelly. ๐๐
Thank goodness the little cherub was okay.
So .. do you have the rest of the day to get to know each other a little better? I'm confident you will redeem yourself quickly in her eyes, despite the perceived slight of shutting her in the wardrobe.
Perhaps you will even warrant a rewarding cuddle by days end. ๐ฑ๐

@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member Had another visit from my Mum today - totally unexpected though which was not ideal because I wanted to sleep. She brought me some grip paint and a mat to cover the slippery tiles outside to my front gate. It was a nice thing to do but I can't actually get out there just yet to see how they go. Hopefully later in the week I can get it all organised but we are expecting rain earlier in the week so I just need to be extra careful. Mum also brought me some pasta she had made so that will be dinner done ๐
I finished doing some assessment proformas today I can print out tomorrow - so another thing done. Just the planning to go now for the week. I already have tomorrow's done as it will be what I had planned for last Tuesday. We have a team meeting after school tomorrow so I might just do a general plan and fill it in more after that meeting.
Very tired and sore again this afternoon so have had to have pain meds again. Not going to try to sleep now though - will try for an early night instead. Cat is sunning herself outside and Toby has gone to join her. It is a lovely day here now the wind has receded so they are both happy outside.
Hope your fur babies are close and you are both having some quality time with them this afternoon. ๐บ๐ถ๐
