The "living a lie" bit has been trying to uphold a front to conceal what is going on for us, because to expose it would have collapsed our family and our life in general.

So hard walking in to the dr's and being asked "how are you ?" When I have told her that things are awful at home, and we are struggling ..... and her saying that the main dr knows what he is doing, so she feels compromised talking about it ...... her compromised ..... ??? What about me and my family ?? Where does that leave us ?

Answer to "how are you ?" ..... "The same !" ..... then I start with the reason for the current appointment.

When all of this comes out, they won't be able to change what they did ..... or didn't do ..... and it will be clear that I was trying to flag down help for several years and not being listened to ..... and they will have to live with that.

Once the diagnosis is out there and complete, things are gonna change ..... I am going to find ways to say that we have a struggle on at home, so things are not okay at the moment, but with time and healing, hopefully they will be.

@Owlunar @Faith-and-Hope I may need to actually get dressed today - my tooth is 'out of control sore' and I need something to help with the pain (and have run out of my normal pain killers )

You should be able to get Oil of Cloves from the chemist for a sore tooth, if that helps.

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope - I will try that - anything but more painkillers if it helps - they do tend to made me really 'spacey' and nauseous at times - so avoiding them if I can is a huge win.

Sorry @Faith-and-Hope @Owlunar - we will have to be jammies triplets another day. I am going to have a shower and head out to the chemist. Then I have to go to medicare (I forgot I had to do that - the internet/phones were down at the clininc yesterday so they couldn't put my rebate straight in - bugger). But on the brighter side - Bunnings is inbetween Medicare and the chemist - so a little side-trip might be in order - maybe for some herbs @Faith-and-Hope - bugger cleaning up the side of the house - I'll just put the pots in front of it all lol I really can't afford to buy anything atm so I'll have to get seedlings - or maybe even start them from seeds - mmmm - that is a great idea Zoe!!!!!!!!

@Zoe7 in many countries people keep potted herbs in old tin cans ..... especially the oil tins in the Mediterranean where they use a lot of olive oil and the tins are big .....
You just puncture a drainage hole or three in the bottom with a can opener (punch type) and plant away ......

An old yogurt pot or something would do, with holes in the bottom.
