I have landed in a bit of a heap, but I have landed.  Had a huge legal “assignment” after my last submission went in for the semester, and then my Inbox has been relatively quiet since then.  The calm before the storm I suspect ….. and timed to throw me off my studies for my next semester.

I am thinking about staying in bed all day, if a not-so-little cat will let me   He has become a self-appointed alarm clock.

Yes holidays now Hon and very, very tired so doing much the same as you today @Faith-and-Hope My fur babies are also an early morning alarm clock so will be sleeping most of the day on and off I expect.

I do hope your inbox stays quiet for sometime (hopefully forever) and you are able to get on with living for a while. That feeling of 'what next' no doubt lingers though as you very well know just how nasty ex is. 

I am going to make a start on my taxes for the last year so I can get it all in early. It is a pretty straightforward process for me so once I sort out all my receipts and enter everything, I will be able to complete my return quickly. I expect a nice return this year so that will help stabilise my finances again. I have been doing pretty well lately with no major expenses apart from Clover's trip to the vet so having a little in reserve will help with the ever increasing mortgage repayments.

How has your 'bed' day been Hon? I have slept most of today - which is probably not great for tonight but I am so tired I think I will still sleep. I have sorted out most of my receipts and done the washing, ironing and cleaned the kitchen this evening so at least a few things have been done. I need to do some shopping tomorrow as the fridge is getting quite bare but other than that another quiet day planned. Do you have any plans for tomorrow @Faith-and-Hope ?

Have found a way to spend time with Grandbaby @Zoe7  so there have been a few days of babysitting ❤️

I hear you with the exhaustion.  I am the same. Needing to nap, go to bed early, stay in bed late ….. recovery time.

Awww @Faith-and-Hope grandbaby time - how wonderful 💖💖💖

I have been doing the same as you - lots of sleeping, on the couch all day and in bed super early. Last night I was asleep just before 7pm. I was up about midnight but it didn't take long to be back in bed asleep. I was up super early - fur babies do not know it is school holidays lol but I am feeling a little better today. Still tired but not the total exhaustion I have been feeling. Unfortunately I have a headache but it is manageable for now - and if it stays that way I may even get out into the garden today 👍

Mum has been in soo much pain in hospital,  so they did a xray and now she has a right broken hip 

They thought it was from her Rheumatoid arthritis and osteo in her hip which was causing the pain 😪😪

Another busy one here, just bits and pieces, but feeling like I am achieving something, and it’s helping keep my mind on creative things.

@Faith-and-Hope That sense of achievement, even if it is just with small things, can be wonderful for our mental state. When it comes with a creative element - as we both know - it can feel even better. Keep kicking goals Hon ?

I did not get into the garden - and most likely will not be able to for some days yet as the rain is supposed to stick around for a few days. After beginning the day with a headache I also developed severe stomach pain which lasted all afternoon and night. I am feeling a little better this morning but still very uncomfortable and very tired so I do not plan on doing much but resting and snuggling with the fur babies again today.

Clover goes back to the vet to get her teeth checked tomorrow. They were cleaned a couple of weeks ago and the vet wants to check for any inflammation to see if she has a rare reaction to her own enamel. If she does then she may need all her teeth out. I certainly hope that is not the case but we will cross that bridge if/when we find out tomorrow.

How is Jay going? ...and D2 and all the baby dragons and grandbaby? How are you feeling now too Hon - still worn out and tired?
