@Faith-and-Hope Yes the bathroom is done enough to have a bath but I had a nice long shower as I was pretty dirty. I think I had mud caked on top of mud.
I still have all the trims to paint but they will need to wait. Tomorrow maybe I can paint over the parts that bled under the tape - there are only a few spots so it won't take long - just need the motivation. They will need a second coat though as it is cream on dark green.
It sounds like you are still kicking goals even though you are so worn out Hon. I hear some positive in your words and that warms my heart. Nearly there sweetheart - such a long, long road for you but the end is getting closer 💖
Had a rather heated argument with my Mum today. I feel both right and terrible about it. I asked her why she told Dad about the plumbing because he then just said he was coming and didn't ask if I needed him to. I told her it meant everything was taken out of my hands and although I know he was trying to help that I had no say in it. The result of today was what I already knew - the pipe needs replacing ...so he spent money to get the machine that was a waste of time. I tried to tell him that yesterday but he just kept telling me what I already knew so I shut up and let him do whatever. Then Mum tried to say we would get a plumber and that just made me angry - why spend money for someone else to dig when that is what I was doing okay on my own. ...Then she said their helper could come down and dig - well I hit the roof. I told her I did not need the help digging and I certainly did not want anyone here I did not know - her response was 'we know him'. As you could imagine - that was enough for me. At that point I could have thrown the phone but I calmly ended the call (not sure how - think I just felt defeated by it all).
There was a lot more but I am just over today. The last few days have been a waste of time and I am feeling quite anxious about going back to work next week as I have done none of what I wanted to do. Hopefully after a good night's sleep (if I can) I will feel a bit better and more motivated tomorrow ...we'll see!
