@FloatingFeather @Former-Member Pulled up about half of the remaining bricks but it started to rain. It was only light rain but the last thing I need is to get sick on top of everything so I stopped. Have been snuggling on the couch with Tobes asleep behind me. Watched a movie - not the best I have ever seen - in fact it was pretty average but it did mean I relaxed for a bit. Also had some pain killers and anti-inflammatories to try to settle my back - which it has done - so the time was not wasted. I am going to wait a bit longer though to pull up the remaining bricks - need also to head out to the supermarket for a couple of things - so will do that now and see how I feel when I return home. OMG @Former-Member walking was not easy. I had to go up a handful of stairs and my poor little legs struggled ...but I treated myself to a pack of Maltesers and am going to eat the lot lol I don't often have sweets but do love a Malteser (or 30 hahaha). Clover has woken up and has gone outside and Tobes met me at the door but is now back on the couch sleeping also. Such spoilt little fur babies but I wouldn't have it any other way.

The closest hospital for respite care at the moment is a hours drive away @Zoe7 

Going to enquire about the place tomorrow

It is a long way away for you all @Shaz51 but if that is all that is currently available then maybe it will have to do whilst you keep trying for something closer. It is not ideal but you need somewhere quickly. Hugs my sister 💚💚💚

Maybe the universe thought you had done enough work for the day @Zoe7 so sent the rain down to encourage you to take a break 🙂. Yes, you definitely don't need to get sick - plus hopefully you can get a bit of rest and relaxation in on your break.

Anything that helps relax the mind, even a so-so movie, is worth it I think - plus it's good that you rest your back. Hugs back to you and big pats for your gorgeous fur babies. My pugs are going to have a bit of a rough old day tomorrow - Hutch has to get some teeth out and Marvin will get upset because his brother won't be home with him so they will both need some extra cuddles tomorrow night!
