Lunar's Party Thread

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

@Zoe7 Me? @Former-Member is the one that started the fascinating conversation about why the moon generally doesn't wear underpants. That piece of information is without a doubt the most intriguing...er...fact that I have learnt during my time in Forum Land. I really don't know how I made it to 40 without learning this before! It really is a sad indictment on our education system.

I agree that the world looks super peaceful from up here. Although...just how high did we go in this helicopter to get a view like that? Is anyone keeping an eye on the altitude of this thing?

I'm a big believer in having options @Zoe7!

Lots of options and choices to be made with that stash 🙂

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

Thank you @Former-Member for the special speedy delivery of lollies!!! @Former-Member and I managed to polish off the majority of them, I think I am going to have to put the onsie back on, because just waering my special new undies from @Former-Member in close proximity to everyone, might cause some extra motion sickness Smiley LOL

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

@Former-Member here are your backup undies... hahaha

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

@Former-Member you used a TURTLE SHELL trolley to be extra SPEEDY??? Giggle. So...just how slow do you generally go? Are you really a snail??? Smiley LOL

I'm sure you are right though, it was the turtle shell trolley that people were staring at. The awesome onesie you are wearing is nothing out of the ordinary at all. Smiley Happy

@Zoe7 It is a terrible dilemma isn't it. You are right of course - it would be distinctly undesirable to share a helicopter with an undie-less moon...but then we know (thanks to @Former-Member's enlightening discussion of the topic) that when the moon wears underpants it affects the tides. What does this mean for the ocean tonight? You know, I bet that's why yesterday was such a muddling day - it was all because the moon was wearing underpants! Maybe I should call up the psychologist and explain this to her. Smiley LOL

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

Somehow little turtle I do not think that psychologist would understand AT ALL. Lucky you have us here to know the real facts about the moon and the tides @Phoenix_Rising - and why the ocean is sometimes very unpredictable - it all depends on how much cheese, dips and chocolate @Former-Member eats lol

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

You are right @Zoe7. I am very lucky to be here in Forum Land where I can learn the real facts about the moon and the tides and why the ocean can be so unpredictable sometimes. I know you guys would never lead a little turtle astray with false or misleading information. Smiley Very Happy

By the way, we seem to have been in this helicopter for quite a while. Are we getting close to our destination yet??? Who knew Forum Land was so big!

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

Oh darn - I don't have any onesies - and I just realised there was a party

I hope it was fun - maybe it's still happening

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

I think if you told the psychologist that, she really would NOT understand, I believe it works like this, but with underwear + cheese, dips and choccies (not earth bossing me around) Smiley Tongue

Re: Lunar's Party Thread

Some of us have already set ourselves up for the picnic - and had a swim under the waterfall - we thought we should leave you on the helicopter for a bit longer so you didn't eat all the Nutella before anyone else had some @Phoenix_Rising. Helicopter letting you down now little turtle...
