Re: Tabaluga's

maybe lay off the dry food @Oaktree  cat I had years ago got cystitis, it always drank lots water after that. it went our of its way to show me something was wrong too. Smart cat.

Re: Tabaluga's

@TAB @Oaktree cat is refusing water but eating, gave her some veterinary grade powdered goats milk which is recommended for cats and dogs. She had a few sips of goats milk but possibly did not like the taste. Shes been having wet tinned food and soup pouches for cats from the supermarket. I will ring the ranger from the council Monday to take her the the pound. Will leave out the goats milk and see if she drinks more

Re: Tabaluga's

not seen my cat drink water in months @SmilingGecko

why change what it eats ?

your choice to get it put down, why ? because it wont touch odd food ?

Re: Tabaluga's

I thought the cat was possibly dehydrated @TAB requiring some kind of fluids like goats milk or bone broth which you can make going by an online vet nurse's you tube video.  She said if cats refuse water thats what you do. She also has some kind of an ear condition, constantly shaking her head and trying to scratch ear. Could be an atopic ear condition due to allergy or something else. Could develop further. I had a dog with a similar atopic ear infection and he required ear drops and trips to the specialist and normal vet on a fortnightly basis. I just wondered why she was not drinking whether it was something more serious, an underlying condition. But her ears are giving her trouble. That happened with my dog requiring drops, steroid creams and injections which i had to do myself. I kept him alive for 13 years

Re: Tabaluga's

Big thing on news lately about how strata companies steal billions

@Bill16

Brother in laws family always had at least 30 units. Strata was a swear  word to them.

Bit like in-between being in a house and caravan park. Fees can keep going up and you mightn't get a say in how it's spent.

Sort of defeats purpose of owning, ie low, ,fixed costs. Don't do it. Get a house.
