Ah I see @TAB it will be over with soon enough. I consoled myself with that before wisdom tooth extraction last week. tbh I wouldn't like driving though. I'm happy without a car because I could not factor it into my budget. It can be nice catching bus, tram, train and the occasional taxi. My previous car was a yoke around my neck and cost me money just to sit in my driveway. It was a bit of a petrol guzzler too. Just did full body workout with some tough old resistance bands. Feeling damn good letting go of stuff that doesn't serve. Its so cheap and ridiculously effective its insane. I love doing it, it beats the gym. Are you doing weights or kettle bell like Meowmy does still?

yes, car is a luxury , but need it in country @SmilingGecko yes there is a bus to city but would have to stay overnight somewhere to match things up plus lots travel back and forth from bus station in city, would take days to do what takes hours in car and cost 5x as much with accom.
there is a community bus to next big town 30ks away now.
had planned to get bus to city for stress -free travel , just need to bas trip around bus timetable. earliest can get to city is like 1pm, so than means stay overnight or plan appts/ask for afternoon only appts, then probs too late. etc etc , dont have to do that yet. looked into it once, cant even get back same day even if dont leave bus station in city think

The transport out this way is being slowly improved so its getting better @TAB but takes forever to get into the city or try and connect transport for long distances. There are so many transport bottlenecks here. I read it can take longer than expected to just travel locally during peak hours. I hope everything will be ok with your heart thingy. I know you don't want to go. In The Age online edition there was an article about Ozempic alternative drugs today. I haven't read it yet but thought I'd mention it
yesterday
.no , not doing weights atm @SmilingGecko should be. had started walking again, need to pick that up too.
am showered, dressed, got water bottle for drive and bag of peppermints ha
got email fm local RSL wondering how I was and where I had been? maybe I can give it one more go at least.
Cat has changed schedule. slept here during evening, then early morning and has snuck off over side fence already @ 9am , usually not been leaving til 8pm lately ha ha
at least dont have to worry about it being shut inside again. it prob knows am going away anyway, so just making its own plans.
@Meowmy @StuF think clean teeth , put sun cream on wrinkly backs of hands and taxi driver arm and think about heading off here. going to be super early. guess could go to hospital canteen or something. think specialist place just short walk away from where got zapped lol.
yesterday
yeah I read recently there are supposedly ways to halve the cost of ozempic type drugs @SmilingGecko locals dont seem to know about it. its on national health in uk lol
funny, in a country so ruinous and RW they have super profits tax and cheap drugs , not like here where it is supposedly 'socialist' lol ..
yesterday
just a consult for an 'opinion' @StuF doubt anything happening today.
maybe 50th ecg, must be easy to claim on medicare lol
yesterday
yeah , should leave soon re missed turn off allowance / dont get in rush etc @StuF lol
will be super early but there is an IGA in same building and can park in shade etc
guessing IGA near major hosp would have some pretty decent snackage for shift workers if the one near hosp in kal was anything to go by...
trying not to crunch petrol prices in my head. will need fuel to get home safely.think refuel anywheres lol. trying to save $2 on fuel not worth the brain energy lol
yesterday
IGA sounds like a good plan @TAB
I always get places pretty early (first few times at least) due to not wanting to rush etc, as you say.
Yeah, chasing fuel prices often doesn't save a lot!
