I think I read a post of yours early that mentioned something that gave me an idea of your aged @Former-Member. But I think I would have been a fair bit off with you had I not read it. I think it's great to see you here tonight too, and am enjoying getting to learn more about you

@Phoenix_Rising I had my 40th as my wife was going into hospital so was avoiding my family so they wouldn't be asking where she was. Got a couple of phone calls and managed dinner out with my  darling before she went away  but that was it. 😞   was hoping for something better at the start of the year .

@CheerBear I always assume you are in my age cohort...so 30-40???

@Kurra It may well be that 40 is the new 20. Plus, you have to take into account the fact that I'm a sea turtle and everyone knows that sea turtles live to 150, so who knows what 40 turtle years equals in human years.

Sure am @Shaz51 and @Phoenix_Rising 🙂 In the earlier part of 30s. Feel so much older than that sometimes and so much younger at other times!

@Former-Member - me too! I've been surprised by that one before as well.

@Determined That sounds really tough. I am working hard and have put plans in place to "make a memory" for my 40th birthday. Even though I will be alone here in the real world, I want to create some positive memories because I know from experience (18th, 21st, 30th birthday) that I will remember the day forever, so I am determined to make it as good as it can be.

I feel more like I am 60.  Was at a work function a number of years ago and the 'class clown' told one of my customers I was 50, he believed it without question...
