Life rolls on better when Good seeds are planted.I am well. Gezellig. @TAB Its a day later but flat out with son and resting. He came back from his holiday, their car broke down, but took it in his stride.. Just made 2 lasagnes. 

@MDT Please can I borrow that saying about "joke socilaists". Love it.  I only started seeing the funny side of things late in life and boy did the class clowns resist the struggle to share the laugh booty around, but to give them their due...irl ... they came around. So they were not too bad.

Thats good re son and resilience maybe? That is worth more than any other childhood learning @Appleblossom . Missed @MDT s post re joke socialists but never guess who re invented self as class clown ok after moving towns/schools and being seen as an overall threat to anyone who thought they were anyone. Funny I never really saw it from their side but why would I have. Yes few noses got out of joint. Egos flattened. Group efforts over time made to counter the intruder who appeared to be thriving ... haha ..

Yay @Zoe7 The cultural cringe has been an Aussie issue.

There are some good Aussie traits, and not just Anzac buscuits.

@TAB I can imagine. One thing that helped me is a friend who is big in the humour industry irl actually made a point of following though, realising and apologising. It was thorny for a bit as it was never going to be a romance but has settled well as friendship.

Yeah was a real pain in lots ot peoples sides @Appleblossom anyway besides having self in stitches and saying/doing whatever I felt like when I felt like. Okay it was all a coping mechanism for my own insecurities.. and I still carry similar traits 40 years later ... hmm
