Re: Checking In

Hey OG @oceangirl
I had similar feelings on tuesday when i was in a panic state.
If you are concerned by all means go to hospital. Its your call and you have our support. Gotta do whats right for you.
I laughed a bit when you said its hard to meet people - not because i want to be dismissive but because i can totally relate. I'm notcing that these days too.
There is always hope by putting out good things into the world.
I said to the matches i had on a dating app that i wasnt interested and that i hope they had a good time finding whatthey want in life. I wanted to be genuine to them because ghosting hurts people. Plus its not me to be like it.

Anyways i hope you find some peace my friend. God knows we need it in this weird age and time

Re: Checking In

@TAB I'm started to feel the same re friends. And I can't see myself with a partner because I have been on my own too long. Will focus my time with my dogs, gym and other interests. What happen to your boat?

Re: Checking In

@TAB I have a few different specialist- surgeon, cardiologist, physchatrist ( not currently seeing one). Are you able to get it done privately (thyroid) or public ( but go private)?

Re: Checking In

not going there re private @oceangirl

been told gap would be $7k if private, so am just waiting

Re: Checking In

Hey Hams @MDT

I feel like this most of the time and I am struggling to function re severe fatigue. I means a lot to have your support. A friend said I spend too much time looking things up but I don't neccessary agree.. In any case I am looking for more information. I will take that with a grain of salt.

We are not alone in this- many people have similar experiences (meeting people). But just remember some relationships or friendships are not what they seem. In reality they don't care too much about each other (fake). I am not saying that to be negative. It comes out in how they treat others (unkind). I am not sure if I am explaining myself well here. We are going to have a better year- good vibes.

I am hoping for more calmness and peace. BTW how did you deal with your panic attack?

Re: Checking In

Same consensus for mental health care in QLD @Bunniekins. My doc said go if immediately urgent. Otherwise a lot of bed rest and coping strategies. So kind of makeshift homemade hospital. Good luck with everything too @oceangirl! You can make it through this.

Re: Checking In

I'm on the not-married-no-friends list too @oceangirl and @TAB. Online is my only community base now, as well as social support (support workers) and other social programs which NDIS are refusing to fund grrr I won't rave tonight. I need a psychiatrist to help me cope properly. Society is very isolating and belittling now. Even my poor support workers are helping me find self-soothing ways to cope when they're with me for excursions and gardening.
