Re: Checking In

@oceangirl  Hey oceangirl dont know what you should do.have you had the 3 shots for covid?

Re: Checking In

Yeah I do feel irritable @oceangirl
I find that it occurs when I'm feeling anxious.
I wouldn't say I feel it now but I would say that at times when I feel apprehensive and depressed I feel it

Re: Checking In

Good morning @oceangirl also

Re: Checking In

Hi @MDT

How do you manage those feelings?

When I feel really uncomfortable it really depletes my energy. But probably combination of things underlying health problems and poor sleep. I am talking to my  psych tomorrow.

Re: Checking In

Hey @oceangirl
Usually I need to bring myself back to the present moment.
I also need to eliminate things that upset me - stupid media, social media, noise. Perhaps I even need fresh air or to be inside.

I am trying more and more to understand myself now.

Sleep is about as vital as food in my view. I always aim for 8 hours.

Re: Checking In

Hey @MDT

I do similar things too.

But I also try to normalise my feelings, in the hope to reduce my anxiety.

I am trying to understand myself more too.

Yes sleep is very important, I agree. But something that I struggle with. My appointment is tomorrow afternoon at 1.45pm (Qld time).

I am looking for an admission to hospital. But it depends on weather my parents can look after my dogs and also the risk of getting covid.

I have felt better since I have reached out for help. What have you been up to?

Re: Checking In

Yay! That's good you've got a safety plan sorted áoceangirl! Was hoping you'd be able to stay home but I'm understanding your concerns for why you need to hospitalise yourself. As the saying goes, you're better safe than sorry! I was getting worried about you. Glad you're ok.
To everybody else: a rollercoaster of mood swings and emotions for me. Yes my feelings are normalised for me, but am feeling unwell too and not coping and sometimes headaches. So my emotions are everywhere and all mixed up. But I'm safe and ok considering the circumstances. I have heaps of grounding strategies. My GP clinic is only down the road if very crook. Not feeling super horrible re headache and fatigue at the moment, so I won't need to go to the clinic for a while. PRN meds all organised so all good! I just have to keep resting and relaxing to prevent severe fatigue and mental deterioration as our local hospitals are a Covid hotspot so admission is last resort option for me.

Just figuring out my life course @oceangirl
Steering the ship back on to a trajectory I care about

Trying to get a social life

Stopping dating. I said to my matches that I wasn't looking for a relationship anymore and that I was concentrating on my life. Some respect that. Some are still happy to chat. I guess everyone has their story don't they?

Just having some brekky atm
