@Former-Member totally hearing you with that feeling of sitting down and wondering if you'll be able to get back up again! That feeling seems to hit me the hardest once they're in bed and I sit down and see dishes and washing and all the rest of it :face_with_rolling_eyes: The idea of after school sport makes me shudder a little - you're great for doing that! I am kind of glad that mine seem to have inherited my lack of sporting/co-ordination genes 😉. Glad you're surviving and hoping rainbows are easier to spot for you soon too (and thanks ❤).

Hi @CheerBear and @Snowie and all others around the nest today! Am home with a sick girl today, she's not too bad but a bit miserable 😞 Was a rather stressful morning trying to sort a hundred things to be home and know that it will be bedlam while im away sigh again! and feeling mamma guilt because she did say she didnt want to do sport last night because she didnt feel well and made her and she was coming down with something.. oops! just having an overwhelm day really! glad its weekend tomorrow though...

@Former-MemberI think we have all done that before. Sent them to school/sport when they say they are not well and it turns out they arn't well. Not guilt, we all do it!

Oh I've done a similar thing and had a big mum guilt moment with it @Former-Member 🙁 I think you might have been someone at the time who came and reminded me we've all done it before. Hugs for you and your little. Hope she feels better soon. Are you going away?

That one (the be as kind to ourselves as we might be to others thing) is one I need to try to do more of sometimes too. I think we really can be our own worst critics sometimes!
