Riding a wave

Re: Riding a wave

It's blank there too @Zoe7! This is now doing my head in!

And it makes sense now that there was something missing from that tag. I wondered what the big smiley (the one I don't know how to do on my phone - maybe this XD ? ) was about.

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear I'll try another way then .. give me a minute Smiley LOL

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear let's see if this works...

Re: Riding a wave

Can you tell me how to make that smilie on my phone too please @Zoe7? 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

The smiley comes from the drop-down box at the top of the text box @CheerBear when you are on a PC. What kind of phone do you have?

Re: Riding a wave

It's an android @Zoe7. I have all the fancy ones on my phone, but often type them in still. Just curious that's all. 99% of my foruming is via phone.

The pic has the waiting to be approved sign now. It's a good sign. Wondering how many other images I've missed on the phone/app though 😕

Thanks for the explanation re the smilie (all the important stuff getting sorted now 😉 ) and persevering with the picture 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

I am very impressed with your perservance @CheerBear - I do fear the wait will not be worth it though LOL

Re: Riding a wave

It worked! The book is winging it 😄

Thanks @Zoe7 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Told you it wasn't really worth all the drama CB - made me giggle though @CheerBear

Re: Riding a wave

Good evening to everyone out here on the ocean. @Vanessa5 it is super nice to see you out here again. I gather you are into art??? I don't have an artistic bone in my body and I super admire people who are that way inclined. Smiley Happy

Hi @Zoe7 I am super excited that you are going to buy the DBT book. I definitely don't think we will get too far ahead of you - I know I for one am the slowest reader on Earth! I love that you reframed my sleeping issues as a positive for you. Smiley LOL I'm actually wondering if I have caught these issues from you in the first place - I've never really had sleep problems before. The pattern lately is that I can fall asleep fine, but then I'm up and ready to go around 2am. This morning I got up at 4am and had a few productive hours, which made it feel less bad that I crashed after seeing my turtle whisperer. However, I super want to get back into a good sleep pattern - even though I would super love to be your entertainment 24/7! Smiley LOL I am going to be super busy over the next couple of weeks as I try to get through my second marking adventure (the assignments arrived this evening), but after that I would love for you to teach me how you do all the amazing pictures.

@CheerBear Your post about my cousin Myrtle made me laugh such a lot. Smiley LOLSmiley LOL I CAN see where her face is...but to me it looks like I'm looking at her bum. I think perhaps it's because the "me" that I'm seeing might actually be a reflection of me??? To me it looks like I'm behind her. Can you perhaps re-post it (cos I'm too lazy to go back a few pages to look Smiley LOL).

I never knew you did most of your posting via your phone @CheerBear. I hate typing on my phone. I only use my phone if I'm hiding in my bed or if I'm out and about. Most of the time I post from my laptop, sitting at my desk.

Ok, well I'm going to snuggle in my underwater cave tonight, but I think I'll be ready to surface tomorrow. I really am so very grateful for my turtle whisperer (do you get the feeling that M has been re-christened the turtle whisperer!!!), I just wish I wasn't so terrified of losing her again.
