Re: Riding a wave

Hey hey, @Phoenix_Rising.  I'm sorry to hear your day was not a-ok :(.  Today sounds like a slump day for you... hoping for some gentle waves to guide you back to the calmer waters.

If it lifts your spirits, I am feeling pretty chuffed with your avatar suggestion.  It makes me happy every time i look at it.  Thanks again for the pic idea.

Re: Riding a wave

The mind does boggle as to why the moon would wear pants @Former-Member - surely that would affect more than just the tides Smiley LOL

Re: Riding a wave

that is an awesome avatar @Former-Member - very appropriate Smiley Happy Great idea @Phoenix_Rising Smiley Very Happy

Re: Riding a wave

Sneaking in quietly having spent the last 24 hours doing the whole super hard agonising gig also and being a little beaten up by that, to say that I'm also here even when I'm not @Phoenix_Rising. I would have felt so incredibly yuck after that too. That sounds so hard 😞 And it's so hard to have what are planned as productive days, turn in to staying alive days.

Re: Riding a wave

I came on here to report that I still feel horrendous...and then I saw @Zoe7's picture of how excited she is to see @Former-Member here. Just between you and me, Zoe, I felt like that too when I saw Pebbles was on the ocean tonight. And then after I saw that picture, I read your joke @Zoe7. And then after I saw your joke, I saw that @Former-Member had adopted my suggestion for her avatar. And so now, my giant feelings are a bit less giant. Smiley Very Happy

@Former-Member I SUPER love that you made the picture your avatar. I super super super love it. Did it automatically crop or did you crop it? I think it has automatically cropped because when I look at it on your own page it is the whole picture, but it has been cropped when it jumped into avatar land. Hmmmm....I wonder if that means you need to make the original image smaller? Oh well. I still super love it. Smiley Happy

I definitely fell into a slump today @Former-Member... and when you're in a slump you're not in for much fun, unslumping yourself is not easily done. Smiley Very Happy Yay for quirky aspie brain that gets words stuck in it. If anyone would like a full recitation of "Oh the places you'll go" I'm happy to oblige. Smiley Happy

@CheerBear it sounds like you are in a slump too. We can be in a slump together - even when we are not. This is me falling into a slump today:

Re: Riding a wave

Slumps are tough, but maybe a little less totally horrendously awful with company @Phoenix_Rising :

At first glance falling in your slump looks like it would have seriously hurt your head, but then I looked again and realised it kind of buried you?! I'm not sure what's worse :S

I think I picked the most annoyingly impossible avatar/forum name when it comes google images/videos time to share how I am feeling sometimes.

I had a bit of an inappropriate giggle reading through and hearing that a "BM" told a funny joke 😉 I then had a laugh at myself because jokes me waaaay too long to get and this one was absolutely no exception. Total banana head sometimes!

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear I am ROFL at the idea of a BM telling a joke and I am also ROFL at the fact it took you ages to get the joke. Smiley LOLSmiley LOL I superly duperly like having a melted snowflakey banana head for a not-friend. Smiley Very Happy

I am especially grateful for you making me laugh right now because I think I've made an oopsy in another part of Forum Land. I am hoping that @Former-Member or @Former-Member is going to help with some bridge building. Smiley Frustrated

Re: Riding a wave

I don't think we should tell @Zoe7 about the double meaning of term BM, mostly because of the giggles it gives me @Phoenix_Rising 😛 So inappropriate 😉

I don't think the oopsy was an oopsy you 'made' and more that it can really tough to know where to meet someone sometimes when we don't have much to go with to start. I understand that it might feel tricky though.

@Zoe7 - I like hearing that you've laughed. I am reeeeally slow with getting jokes. Usually when a joke is told around me by people who know me well, it turns back on me and my inability to get them with any kind of keeping up speed. I think I'd be glad to have the pause time between chat sentences to process a joke if it was told to me 😛
