Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

@Evie89

Hi Evie and welcome to your new support space!

You will find all sorts of love, hugs, support laughter and the occasional tear.

You will never be judged, just loved.

Your contributions will make the forum a better place now that you are here.

Love, hugs and kisses,

Bipolar Rich

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Thanks for your reply.

I am working on expanding my social/support network as it is quite limited.

Currently working on joining some peer recovery groups and I have been trying to join some events on meetup as I am quite isolated.

I usually go for multiple walks a day, Coloring on my iPad and playing games on my Nintendo Switch 2 to try and distract myself.

Really want to move away from watching the clock and constantly checking what time it is.

I think increasing my social/support network will help and also trauma therapy which I am on the waitlist for.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

They @Evie89 , great to hear you have a few things in place.

Life is about learning. About trying new things. So good on you for giving things a go.

I've never attended Meet Ups. I generally look at local events in my area. Then again, I prefer my own company 🙂

I generally take my dog for a walk and try to say hello to people I see.

What are your local libraries like? Do they have any events and programs?

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

My name is NobleGnosis, im a man under 30 years old.

I have a few hobbies I enjoy like reading (mostly classics, currently reading Homer's the illiad). I enjoy studying modern history and some sciences. Recently got back into ww2 scale models, and I also enjoy archery and metal working.

I joined the forum in the hopes of finding others like minded and maybe discuss some things that I dont tend to share with those close to me.

Thank you to the staff who kindly helped with my email verification.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Welcome to the best forum you'll ever find.

I am an avid reader of WW2 history and my son makes WW2 and cold war aircraft models too.

Looking forward to hearing from you a little more

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey ya, new to the group a couple weeks ago but just figured out this morning that i was supposed to introduce myself.. lol i get things backwards all the time but I'm learning to accept it now rather than stess or rage over it..

I won't rattle on with a 20+ page yarn about everything devastating thats ever happened to me but all of it has created circumstances that have brought me to this moment and being apart of SANE...

I'm a 35yr old woman from Western Qld and have finally been diagnosed officially with everything i suspected but couldn't get help for until i went to rehab in January 2026.

I am a recovering drug addict, abuse and neglect survivor recently diagnosed with ADHD type 2, BPD, Major depressive Disorder MDD, C-PTSD, Co-morbid Substance use Disorder and then behaviour characterised by Separation Anxiety.

It's been a wild ride so far but I'm lfigureing out how to rewire my thinking and adapt my behaviour so i experience healthy emotions.

Stoked to be apart of something with people who understand and that can guide me on this strange new chapter 🙏  love and light to you all xox

Thank you for sharing @Case-Ahn-13 . I read your bravery through all of this. My brother in law is an addict. It hasn't been easy for him at all. We're here to support each other. YOU CAN DO IT!

Hi @Noblegnosis ,

Welcome to the forums. We are so glad to have you with  us. I'm sure you will find like-minded people here. And yes, you can discuss things in an anonymous way so hopefully that will give you a bit more liberty to share without judgment.

I look forward to hearing from you mate.
