Oh @Former-Member if Nutella likes/dislikes and consumption of said condiment is not a safe question then are there ANY safe questions? Just saying mods....

@Former-Member That image I posted was actually a baby nutella jar - it sits in the palm of your hand - I need to photograph it next to something life size so you can see how small and cute it is. I actually bought it when I was in Sydney just for Friday Feast but wasn't able to participate that night. I giggled the whole time I was buying it!

The 25mg ones? I don't think they'd last me for one toast! I like only a little bread with my Nutella (that's why I actually never buy a jar as I would eat it by the spoonful!).

I love hiking! I'm too big and unfit at the moment to keep up with my friends but we did a lot of hiking before I got sick. But I did a long walk today, the first one in ages!

I'd love to ask which hike you did, but you might not want to reveal your location.
What was the hike like? I too haven't gotten out much since I got sick, but that's my goal this year - to get fit enough to go on a long hike again.

I used to hike in Switzerland 🇨🇭 France 🇫🇷 and Germany 🇩🇪 and I've done a few hikes around NSW. Hiking in NSW has been limited to day hikes, whereas I was keen to hike for a week or so when I grew up. I love the Alpes! And I miss the Alpes!

Are you planning a special hike? I would like to do the 12 Apostles and I heard Tasmania is really special.

Can you post some pics of your hikes in the alps?
I too like to hike for a week or so. I love being out in the wilderness for several days at a time and just moving over the landscape. There is something inherently beautiful about it.
I've done the overland track which was fun, but very heavily populated and there were huts every night. It's not the most beautiful hike in tassie I've heard.
I'm planning on doing parts of the Australian alps walking track. I'd love to do the whole thing, but my navigation skills suck, so I'd need to find someone to do it with me.
I'm also quite partial to some parts of the blue mountains and royal national park. I think I've done every piece of track in Royal about 5 or 6 times. I'd like to explore more of the walks around sydney, but if it's less than 15km long I feel disinclined to bother driving out to them if that makes sense?

I was thinking exactly the same thing @Former-Member - but I have come to notice that any thread can be turned into a conversation about Nutella - maybe it is because Nutella starts with Nut... @utopia - I can see a new t-shirt line emerging from this conversation too.

Hi @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Zoe7 and @Queenie, there's a thread here that introduces mods but I think we've been a little remiss in getting some of the new weekenders to introduce themselves.  We'll try to sort that out. 

And to put your curious minds at rest, the enjoyment of nutella is an essential criteria for becoming a moderator.  Although this report has made recruitment a little harder 🙂  Why do people insist on discovering the truth and undermining life's small pleasures????

Anyone who thinks that Nutella is NOT confectionary needs their heads checked.
However, anyone who also believes it's not an essential food similarly needs their head checked.
Everything in (regular) moderation. (pun!)
