Am Not Coping

Re: Am Not Coping

haha @Catcakes I took all the hairs and skin off my legs and arms on the infield Smiley LOL On the positive side - I was rarely tagged out as I always went in head first - that is how I damaged my neck though!

On a different not @Catcakes I wanted to tell you how wonderful it is that you seem to be much more 'at home' on the forum. Your contributions and conversations with others are much more positive even when you are not doing so well yourself. It is really great to have you here @Catcakes and you provide a lot to the forum. I love chatting to you and am also happy to support you when you need it (when I can of course). Keep up the great vibe you are bringing here - that connection with others is gold!!!! Heart

Re: Am Not Coping

I agree entirely @Catcakes @Zoe7 .....

Re: Am Not Coping

@Faith-and-Hope I cracked several ribs and my thumb.... the ribs were the most painful but the thumb took the longest to heal as it was my glove hand and I continued to play with it... Smiley Surprised

Re: Am Not Coping

That’s very sweet of you to say @Zoe7, Thankyou.
I’m thinking @SleeyPanda would not agree with you but I try hard not to crack it with other forum members.
I’ll tell my psychologist @Zoe7 because most of the time I have bad things to report 😖

Re: Am Not Coping

Sounds painful @Zoe7 ..... ☹️

I remember the two fingers taped together for weeks ......

Re: Am Not Coping

Thanks also @Faith-and-Hope.
@Zoe7, you sound like you were scary on the diamond...fearless 😬

Re: Am Not Coping

You can also tell you psychologist @Catcakes that your interactions here are much more positive and engaging than they were when you started. That shows both growth and confidence and both of those you should be very proud of Smiley Very Happy

@Faith-and-Hope I sprained many fingers and had them taped together for weeks too lol - the things we put ourselves through hey Smiley Tongue

Re: Am Not Coping

She does, doesn’t she @Catcakes ..... lol .... lacking the self-preservation that kept me out of the diamond ......

I think you will find that @SleepyPanda won’t hokd anything against you @Catcakes ...., the mods see our best and our worst here, and are very good at turning the page, generally, and just starting off fresh again the next day.

It takes some people a while to settle in and either accept or genuinely appreciate the forums ..... and @Zoe7 will tell you, there are a lot of ups and downs .....

Re: Am Not Coping

Yeah @Zoe7 ..... I did do such things as rollerblading, surfcattong, bit of archery, indoor rock climbing ..... and I have graze scars and stitches from the netball court ..... but no broken or sprained fingers .....

Re: Am Not Coping

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope.
That doesn’t reflect my experience as SP said to me “ every time you tag the moderators you are being critical”.
But I’m prepared to move on .
It is my history of bad experiences with psychologists that puts me on the defensive with them
