I still have a fair bit of cleaning up to do. Some things just need to be dried out but that is a bit hard with the current weather. There are some spots I just can't get to right now and the garage is a total mess - that was hit the worst. I was lucky compared to some other places - 'our' beach @Faith-and-Hope was hit hard and many houses there were flooded.

Hope everyone is having an okish day - I am pretty much just resting for the remainder of the day - don't have the energy now to do any more!

Afternoon @Zoe7 thought you might have got some damage I'm having a rest day as I cleaned and tidied yesterday afternoon with my support worker the kitchen is amazing everything was put away I have bench space again hahaha

Yes @Maggie we are safe. It was a very tricky night - in the end I had to give up and let the water come in where places were leaking. There was absolutely nothing I could do with the garage though - too much water coming in! The thunder was so loud it scared Toby so there was a lot of cuddling and re-assuring him it was ok. It must have been pretty close could it felt like the house was shaking (actually scared me a little too). I appreciate you @Maggie - no words needed - you just get it

Sorry to read you have so much to clean up after the floods. It must be a real mess. Glad you're ok though. Rest up and just do what you can for today.

My kitchen was one of the worst parts of the house so it will take more cleaning up than I can deal with today @Pepsimax - so glad your support worker helped you to tidy - it feels a bit better when things are clean and tidy
