I think for those of us with these flashes, its so hard to do mindfulness because when ever i try to relax, or just let my thoughts be images, movies, excruciating things pop up and overwhelm and theres no way to just sit iwth it. or to notice it curiously. I have tried. I use smiling mind daily with my work and ive seen it make a massive difference with my little people.
does anyone drink herbal teas? i'm having achamomile with some ginger and lemon at the moment. it was a long long long day today. i havent slept well lately and im so hoping that i will get some sleep tonight.

@Former-Member I am with you completely on the flashes etc. Mindfulness isn't an option when you become so overwhelmed by your thoughts, the images and the fear.
I hope you can get some sleep too lj - the lack of sleep adds to the mental exhaustion and sends us further into the darkness.
I have started to have the nightmares and flashbacks constantly at night - and a lot during the day also. I really am worn out.

@Former-Member you rest lj. Thankyou for being here with me. Please look after yourself and do what you need to do to try and settle a little and sleep (I know how hypocritical that sounds coming from me but I care about you even if I can't care for myself atm).
