Hi @Escaped_Goat ...thank you!
Lentil bolognese and garlic bread sounds so yummy.
I'n glad you got a walk in - I did too, with about 5 glorious minutes of sunshine. It's taken me all day to have my shower, but I just had it and now I have nice clean hair too.

I'm really sorry to hear this. And I'm sorry that the man on the path caused a bad reaction. Dang man!
I feel pretty overwhelmed this evening. I am really struggling to get much done each day. I'm truly worried that my coping level has really dropped significantly during lockdown.
I'm going to take the evening off to read my novel. It's already given me 3 laughs today, so it's a good 'un. I will check in on the forums though in case you reply.
Take care, and I hope you sleep well tonight...

Hi @Escaped_Goat ...am a bit worried about you...I hope you are OK.
Maybe you're just taking time away from the forums, which is fine of course...or maybe your grandchild has been born today!
Sending you all my best wishes.

Hi @NatureLover sorry to worry you. Had no internet when I first got up this morning for some reason... so I just got busy doing things all morning and was out this afternoon. Have only gotten home a few minutes ago. It was probably just off for a few minutes but I forgot to check again while I was otherwise occupied. It does that occasionally... usually I'll just do something and then check later but I had a bunch of things to do today and didn't even think about the internet again.
How has your day been?
No sign of baby today.. yet...

Oh, no sign of your grandchild...yet!
No worries about your busy day. Sounds like you've been productive @Escaped_Goat 🙂
My day's been a bit better thankfully as I spent 2 hours walking and sitting in the sun, and then came in and cooked up curried veggies on toast.
Was it sunny there?

@NatureLover It has been sunny here but it's dipped behind the neighbors roof now so I'm feeling chilly all of a sudden 😂
Curried veggies on toast sounds nice and warming... makes me think of an Indian dish the boys at work used to make. They'd make a batter with chickpea flour and water and add curry powder and turmeric and finely chopped vegetables then dip triangle half slices of bread in the batter and fry them up... so tasty!

That sounds yummy - I can't quite imagine the finished result, especially with the vegetables...but it sounds tasty.
Yes, my dinner was more filling than just toast with Promite, even if I add fruit afterwards. Plus there's leftovers for tomorrow.
Have you been doing any more cooking for your son and daughter-in-law for when the baby arrives? @Escaped_Goat

@NatureLover I've done a little more cooking. I think I'm probably done.
This is what the boys at work used to make
How good does that look?

Oh wow, they look delicious, @Escaped_Goat !
<thinks to self...I have chickpea flour...> What are these delectable things called?
That's good you've done all the cooking you needed to do for when the baby comes.
It's surpisingly mild here tonight, but down to 1C overnight apparently.

@NatureLover they are just called besan toast as far as I know. 🤷♀️
Down to 1° here too but wouldn't be surprised if it got lower... it's already down to 8° at only 6pm.
Hope you keep toasty warm tonight... I have the heater on and won't be too long out of bed. I'm really feeling the cold this year. Old bones 😂

Besan toast! Will google it for a recipe, thanks 🙂
Maybe you're feeling the cold more this year as you said you lost quite a bit of weight?
Yes, getting into bed early on a cold night sounds good. I haven't got the heater on but the dryer is on and is sending out heat. It's in my lounge-room as there's barely room to turn in the bathroom....but because I knew the dryer would have to go in the lounge-room, I got a condenser dryer, which saves the moisture as water and doesn't send it into the air.
I hope you sleep well tonight @Escaped_Goat 🙂
