My Hospital Stay

@utopia All the best when you leave hospital next week. You do sound really good, you seem to be more confident and have more clarity about things. I can tell by the way you are expressing yourself.However, it is great to hear you can see the improvements within yourself.

I know in the past you've not had the support when you left hospital, I am glad this is not the case. I actually going back into hospital sometime soon, I am waiting to hear back from the clinical team. I think I will be going in Monday week or sometime that week.

I'm pleased that you will get a hospital bed soon. Hospital is the place I come to to keep me safe when those suicidal thoughts are too scary or too strong for me to handle.
I hope after your hospital stay, you start to feel as good as I am, & then continue getting better.

Your welcome @utopia. I didn't sleep too well last night. Even though I am not very motivated, I am going to go to the gym for a little bit. Am glad to hear hospital is a safe place for you, and that you are seeing changes within yourself, and keep doing what you are doing. All that sounds wonderful, I take my hat off to you.  I better start to move because I have few things to do after the gym. Look forward to seeing how your day was.

And that you have things in place and have a permanent psych to help you.  Getting the right support is very important especially when out of hospital.  Wishing you all the best for when you leave hospital.

I am going back in hospital next week.  If i don't hear from the private hospital i am going into the public hospital short stay menal health unit for 3 days (max stay).

@BlueBay. Hopefully you will get into your private hospital. If not, at least the public hospital is an option. I'm pleased you're being proactive with your mental health and seeking help when you need it.

I have been a bit off colour with a virus of some kind and so I have not been in touch for a few days so I have a bit of catching up to do

I believe you are going home next week and you have after-care set up for you - this is a good thing and I really hope everything works out for you

Is it okay for me to ask how long it is since you have been sober now - I promised to get you a bigger medal when the time felt right - whatever the length of time is I know it is hard for you - some I don't really know anything about but still - I wish you all the best Utopia
