Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member You obviously don't realise how much you give to each and everyone here and elsewhere around the forum. We appreciate you. Like us all, there are days we are not here, we all know those days are the most difficult. But we all return, knowing we need each and every one to get through. So dear lady, a big  thank you goes right back to you, deeply heartfelt.πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’œπŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’œ

Re: Taking the plunge

Hello @Maggie -  I will be able to listen to the birds with you at the rising of the sun - it 4:30am, I have been up all night as I can't sleep and won't. Will have to struggle through today as best I can on no sleep. Hope this does not go on for days.......Hope you managed to have a visit with some of your fellow residents in your unit block on Christmas day. How did it go?

Its true what Maggie said @Former-Member. You have lifted my spirits a few times on here which I really appreciated. I like out chats. When you visit the elderly in nursing homes, what do You mostly talk about with them? What benefits do you derive from volunteering? I am looking at trying different avenues of volunteer work than I am previously doing for something new, but I don't know where to begin looking really or what's on offer. Any tips?

Hope Boxing Day goes well for both of you xx

Re: Taking the plunge

Well there you are @Former-Member up with the birds. I hope you get some peace sitting with the birds, sorry to hear no sleep though, that's hard.

I did spend some time with one of my young neighbours. She then went to family for tea, we had a good chat and a few laughs. Maggie was given some ham and chicken and turned wild. She's not usually a food dog, but yesterday that changed with the intro of some delicious treats. Lol.

How did your lunch and BBQ go???? I hope it wasn't the stress that is keeping you awake.

Its still dark here and I'm hoping for a colourful sunrise.

I found a lovely music track which I will share with you. Later.

Please put your feet up today and be good to you, the lead up to Christmas is huge.
