Hello my beautiful forum family @Former-Member@Maggie@greenpea@utopia@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope - just have been reading through your posts, always an honour to get a mention from you and to be part of this wonderful group.
I agree @greenpea - this is an uplifting wonderful thread - in the good times and the bad. We are there for to help each other through the dark times and always up for a laugh regardless! How could it be anything but uplifting with our sweet Jewish greenpea amongst us? 😃. Most people I know don't venture out New Years Eve - can be safer and just as enjoyable to stay home. We did venture to a friend's dinner party last year that was just up the road, but they have moved. This year we may go to our local club if our daughter is working a shift there for moral support - otherwise we will bring it in watching the fireworks on TV. 💕
Hi @Maggie - hope you have recovered from your paving experience. Although the body aches, doesn't the achievement feel great! You are our little trooper - once you set your mind to something bingo, it's done, or at least attempted. Talking of bingo guess what - enigma is doing a happy dance 💃🎉:money_mouth_face: - I won twice, woo hoo! My daughter and friend won as well - our lucky day ☘️
The club system here is when we win points this is transferred as cash onto a credit card and I can use that cash for anything - more cross stitch supplies aha! I am nearly finished my latest sweetheart gate cross stitch - then I should be able to start the mermaid. I am still waiting on a new cross stitch stand from the UK to stitch her on though because she is big - the stand is a handmade heirloom and can take awhile to make. So I may start the cross stitch "Unmasked" first - the one I posted a few weeks back with the two female faced masks. That's a good one too. That's the problem with me - I have too many kits that I love and it hard to choose which to do next!!! Cross stitching dilemma lol. Did you get much done on yours? Would love to see a pic 😊❤️xx
Hello @Former-Member - love seeing cute Holly pop up,with her Santa hat. Very cute. Does she follow you everywhere? I do have trouble sleeping at the best of times - it can ruin my routine and day. Sorry to read you struggle with similar. Sometimes I have to take something to help me sleep - wish I didn't, but I try and be prudent with tablets. I never take much if I can get out of it. I don't like the side effects - but have to admit they can make me feel better.
Although functioning well I do think the psychs were right years back - I have a genetic mood disorder, but I have good coping strategies and it never stops me (mostly). I think the situation with my daughter for those years was the most threatening to my physical and mental health - thankfully that has improved since she moved out. I have noticed she can slide back a little (get a bit moody/down) when she doesn't work and gets bored (she is on work cover for an injury presently). She likes to work - routine is good for her. You are sounding better - I am so please to read this. The cricket has been on everyday for a couple of weeks here now as hubby loves it - I can't even escape it from the radio in the car 😩......it's driving me bonkers 🙃lol. But seriously I wish I could get into it - it would be so relaxing to enjoy such sport. I prefer to play sport or swim. I am a bit hyperactive sometimes. Hope your day is going well.💜
@Former-Member - so good to read a post from you! I was wondering how your were going - this time of year can be tough...You must be relieved it's over and can go back to some type of equilibrium again, as much as possible anyway. Depression/anxiety can be unpredictable at times, and just a pain in the exterior. One day at a time my friend. 💕
@Faith-and-Hope - it was particularly good to read a post from you. We will hold you up my friend, in our arms to carry, in our hearts to love and in our spirit that gives strength, hope and faith. We will ride this through together. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️xx
@utopia - if you are old then I am nearly dead haha 😂Your boy is growing up, the grey hairs will soon appear lol. He sounds like a good lad and will be a wonderful support and friend to you when he is older. They are precious even when a bit painful. Hope your day is turning out to be a good one. Did you receive the book 1984 yet? 💕 xx
