Hello @Former-Member and @Maggie
Thanks for thinking of me and my daughter. Again I am proud of her, she is displaying such strength now. She said she wants to and can deal with this alone. She took screen shots of the threats last night once her shift finished at 11:00pm and is taking this to the police department with her flatmate girlfriend today. Her friend is very protective of her and I am pleased she lives with such a person. She is showing signs that she is stronger in dealing with these issues now and that has given us relief. Although it could take a long road to resolve. Not sure. Will have to take this a day at a time. This male can be dangerous which is the worry.
I offered for her to stay back here for awhile but she wanted to do it herself. So what you said @Former-Member with her being now wise enough to deal with it seems to be the case. Fingers crossed that all will settle soon. Thanks for thinking of us. How are you feeling today?
@Maggie - you are right. People are not talking face to face anymore preferring to talk with their fingers with technology. My daughter is always doing this. I have tried to encourage her to join groups and mingle more. She is yet to do so, but who knows. She asks me if these people have tattoos? She still stereotypes abit, as others do to her. I just hope people will see through her tattooed appearance to the wonderful person, and visa versa - that she gives a nice guy a chance. It will happen one day.
I was thinking of putting my trumpets up on the community garden - will do that today π Are you gardening today? If I can get my sleep in order I would have more time to visit different forums. I overslept last night for 10 hours!!! It's all over the place. My New Years solution is to work on a better routine (force myself up at the same time each morning regardless of how little sleep I had and go to bed the same time etc and see if it works). It didn't the first time I tried but willingly to give it another go. What is your New Years resolution? @Former-Member@Maggie
Hello @frog π Sorry to read that you have been unwell. Do you know what is wrong? It's a good idea to rest up today and to take it easy - a good book sounds just the trick to help relax, I love reading. I enjoy watching a good movie or documentary etc also when ill, but they are harder to find now - do you experience that as well? It is raining here today too - I love listening to it and sewing on these days (cross stitch and embroidery). And it's cooled those soaring temps which can be draining, so am making the most of it and savouring the moments. I hope you feel better much soon. Please keep posting, it's nice to see you around here πxx
Hello @greenpea π - isn't the rain wonderful? Is our little pea dancing in it πxx

@Former-Member Yes I was in the garden at around 7am. It's lovely out there first thing in the morning, Maggie May sat right on the garden this morning. She usually sits close by, but there she was, in between the plants. She can always drag a smile out of me, even when the going is tough.
Tatoos are something I personally pay little attention to, apart from admiring the artistry in them. My young neighbour has one completely up one are. Amazing work. So many young people have them today, I would have though they were more acceptable. Might depend on the company. I hope the present situation doesn't escalate out of control. D has made amazing progress, maybe her ex doesn't like that fact!!! She is strong and she has you and your husband and some good friends, fingers crossed for what happens next.
I'm still thinking of vacuuming, been thinking for days now. I suppose it won't do itself, and is that just leaves me, I'd better get cracking!!!!
Have you got your stitching out today?????
@Former-Member Heading back to bed was a good idea, hope you got some rest. Another cool day, 20 I think. πππΎ

@Former-Member Sometimes you just have to rest. They say one SMALL step at a time for a reason. Humidity wouldn't help with anything, it drains everything. It's ok to rest @Former-Member, be gentle with you.

Hi @Maggie - it would be sooo lovely to be out in the garden that early. I am determined to do that - especially when I move as the early morning beach walk will beckon. So lovely to be around nature in the crisp of a sunrise π So good to be alive at these times
My daughter has tattoos up both arms, and on her top leg. I think it is more common so hopefully it won't be an issue for her. Her workmates and the older patrons love her - she is a nice person now. I am probably worrying about nothing. And hopefully this situation won't effect that and be sorted. She is stronger which gives me some peace. I was intitally concerned as it was abuse that made her attempt last June. But she has made amazing progress and is much stronger than then so fingers crossed π€ Thank you for your support βΊοΈ
Yes I hope to do some more cross stitching to ge this present one finished. When I reach the end of a big project I get sick of it and want to start the next lol. If feels so good to sit back and look at it when completed. How is your cross stitching going? Enjoy the vacuuming - I think I will clean out some drawers etc today to get ready to our move - am looking forward to it. We will be busy getting the house ready for sale March/April. And a little bird told me I may end up on the board at the community centre - so I think next year my work will be cut out for me with a lot more responsibility - hugely π³. Enjoy your day my sister ππΉ

Hi @Former-Member - it is important to take it easy in this excessive heat, especially after what you have been through. It's humid here too but QLD I could imagine would be more so. What do enjoy doing at home that helps distract and unwind? Would be nice for you at the moment.
My New Year resolution is for better health as well which includes better sleep routine. It will help us to cope better too. I have a busy year ahead and this is a must otherwise I will crash and burn. So cheers to a bigger, healthier and happier 2018 π·ππxx
