Taking the plunge

Re: Taking the plunge

@Jacques Sorry you had a rough day yesterday. I hope today will be a better one for you. Picking ourselves up is so hard, specially doing it for the zilienth  time.💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member So today is moving back home day!!!!I know there is no choice here, of course you can't leave D stranded. Fingers crossed things move smoothly for all of you. Housemates can be tricky, maybe a small home for D would be the answer.

Sounds like you made yesterday a good day for your friends, a laugh, good company. It would have been a lift, before facing some difficult days to come with chemo. Not the best start to new year for them, but maybe the end results will be.

Your life is a busy one, and with a board member added to that, plus a move thrown in for good measure, what can I say, Wonder Woman. Seriousely though, take care of you when you can, try not to burn out, sometimes the warning signs are well hidden, and we are there, like it or not.

I will ring later today regarding results and ask my counsellor to do some research on Drs around this area.

Some sleep would have been welcome, I hope that continues. Regarding your posts, you can only do what time allows. Strange how life is. For some 24 hrs is too long, for others too short.

Always a resting place here for you @Former-Member, plus a listening ear ,or eye in this case.

Good luck with bingo today.👍🙃💜🐾💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie - yes it will be a big day on top of a lot of other commitments I have to attend. Busy, busy is my middle name. But I'd do like to be so as it makes me happy and I meet a lot people through it and I enjoy it.  I can't complain - life is good 😊 I will try and look after me too - thanks for your wise concern.

Sounds like a good idea to ask your counsellor recommendations for a good doctor, it's so important to have a good one - plus it will reduce your stress levels. The present doctor is causing you too much anxiety. Let me know when you learn of the results today of your x-ray and how your day goes. Hug 💜

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member The results are as I expected, arthritis in my shoulder now. The receptionist read out the Drs notes which said, arthritis as discussed !!!!!!!!! How could it have been discussed if we didn't know?????? Anyway, feeling unsure about it all, but will sit on it for a while.

How has your busy day gone or is it still going???? Did you have a win ????? Has D moved back home today???

Sending a warm hug your way, I'm thinking you might need one.💜💕🐾🐾

Re: Taking the plunge

Hello @Maggie

Sorry, didn't mean to worry you my friend. There are different sources causing me undue stress undeservedly that I am dealing with and my daughter is going through a difficult time which so also doesn't deserve - so that's the way I am feeling now. But I will be okay, it will pass as everything does and all will be good again. Just a rough patch. I know of all people you would understand. I so appreciate your support and friendship. Thank you for caring 🌹

I didnt end up going to bingo because of my daughter's situation. But there is always next week and I may get lucky then. It's raining here which has cooled everything down which was nice. Would love to listen to one of your uplifting songs if you have time to share ☺️ How was your day? ❤️

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie - I just read your post about the findings of arthritis in your shoulder - your doctor sure sounds confused! Cold comfort really. I hope you find another soon through your social worker as this must be causing you undue stress. A good doctor will talk through your treatment options - I have been told by my GP that for rheumatoid arthritis there are new treatments and injections available that have very good results and few side effects (this was for my husband). So may be worth investigating newer treatments. I hope your pain eases for you soon my friend - it hurts me to know you are in pain. 🤗💕🌹

Josh Groban "You Raise Me Up" With Lyrics In 720p HD Lyrics: When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary; When troubles come and my heart burdened be; Then, I am still and wait here in the silence, Until you come and sit awhile with me. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up ...

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member My own songs are a little dark for what you need right now. Hope this one helps short term anyway. Hang in there, standing with you through the storm.
