Living with Ourselves

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hi @Sophia1  yes lost posts disappearing into the ether is really frustrating.   I think they go to one-sock-heaven!

I will keep the focus on AAT/NDIS til the hearing happens and focus on details of my trip after that.  Cross-eyed with reading my AAT file this morning.

Thanks for all your encouragement.  I hope today has nice moments in it for you and that your post-op recovery is progressing well.

Re: Living with Ourselves

Afternoon @Sophia1
I was thinking about you while i was driving past the beach today and took a pic. I need to wait till im home to upload it for you but it might be something you would like. It was actually strange that when i was thinking of you i drove past a street with the name 'Sophia' (wont specificy is its street, avenue, road etc fo identity purposes) and it remined me to take a pic for you.
Funny how things pan out sometimes isnt it.
Hoping todays ok for you 💓

Re: Living with Ourselves

oh how beautiful @outlander

that is what I believe to be a spiritual connection with a person...

I am honoured and humbled at the same time...

I do hope that you are feeling some relief from your own struggles...

you can talk to me here... only if you feel that you want to..

be how you feel most comfortable...which of course changes for us all of the time doesn't it.,..on our merrygoround of life..

I comfort myself occasionally when feeling in a brighter state of mind that at least we are discovering who we are...

Re: Living with Ourselves

wow @outlander

is this close by to where you live? this could be your own private beach....imagine riding a horse along here...

I will have my bag packed and ready to go....I am on my way...

what a beautiful spot...noone there...my gosh I would be walking along there daily...

the sea is actually blue...

thank you for thinking of me.....I shall use this picture as part of my grounding when I close my eyes and visualise that I am somewhere special....

when we were away when ever it was...seriously my head....we went to the hinterland part of nsw and one of the beaches that took a fair way to walk to was almost like this...we waded through the sea ...further down the beach were two people riding horseback....watching them take them into the sea was mesmerising...

how is your hand? good news for you I am hoping....

are you managing sometime for you doing something that makes you smile...feel more settled?

Thank you again...bless you outlander xxxHeart

Re: Living with Ourselves

This is one of our pretty beaches however when the weathers not so good it looks very yukky @Sophia its a 45 min drive from me though but i dont go often. Weve got a few but they all have dogs on it. I wiah there was one that wasnt allowed dogs tbh they always seem to be filled with them so i dont go anymore. It was pretty quiet though today so could stay a few minutes before my appt time.

Ive been beach riding a few time but that was yrs ago. I dont ride much and i dont have a horse anyway. Was fun at the time though.

Your more than welcome to use this pic as a grounding imagine. If i travel 2-3 hrs south during certain parts of the yr theres usually dolphins and they come so close i could pat them. Our last holiday about 2 yrs ago i was up at 6 watching them and there were swimmers out there too and rhe dolphins were pretty much swimmig with them. Was so good to watch.

Re: Living with Ourselves

I seen the specialist today. We checked the xrays and its still healing very slowly . 😞 you can still see the break so I need to still be careful but its at the point now I can rest a little easier and can move It just a little bit She put the tens machine on and will try to do that abit to help with the nerves too. It felt weird but not painful. Shes given me some exercises to do not hard ones mostly just getting my arm moving again. I still wear the splint all the time however with the cast I only need to wear it like at the horses or during sleep or if theres a chance I might knock it but when im at home chilling take It off and start weaning off the cast itself. I need to keep massaging my hand and arm gently and the exercises shes given me each day and just keep doing those. My hand and arm are really hurting tonight after having the work done on it. Its making my anxiety rise abit and making ir rather uncomfortable. I see her again in 10 days to check and see how things are going.

My anxiety is all over the place atm goes up and down like a roller coaster.
Im not all that settled still have quite a few thinga happening offline and had to come to terms with another physical diagnosis but isnt too bad.-extremely allergic to dust pollen grass seeds etc and have allergy induced asthma

How are you going? How was your time away?
