@surfandskate There is a quite shallow canal that runs from my favourite beach to the river which is great to paddle in - would be the perfect spot to take you little fella too because it is still. Do you have a two person canoe? Sounds like such a lovely thing for you al to do together

Just gone off with rain again @TAB and we are behind with the revised score so looking like we will now lose ...oh well ...that's life!

I just realised it is technically a kayak @Zoe7
It’s just a one person, but I’m not overly big so we go just fine the two of us, learnt a little trick though (thanks to the internet) that we tie things that will float to the yak like a toy or a stick it’s just fun, because I find he always wants to reach out and grab floating leaves and stuff so yeah did this and he loves watching it being dragged along

That is such a fantastic idea @surfandskate Best to have him grabbing at things you know are same rather than things that pop up in the water - good thinking (even if it was internet inspired).
