Far and Away

Re: Far and Away

I can imagine that is really frustrating @Zoe7 .   I guess you’re going to have to focus on get-to-know-you games for the first couple of days ?  Might be a big drawing opportunity in there …. Perhaps a class mural on a roll of paper ?  Collage too ….. ?  Just a thought.

Still feeling steamrolled here.  The high temperatures don’t help, even though I have aircon in this house ….. trying to run it frugally.

Re: Far and Away

I have a big roll of Calico at home @Faith-and-Hope that we could use to paint on before I can get to all the other art supplies in the boxes. The paint is accessible as that is in one of the cupboards that was not removed. I am keeping my fingers crossed I will be able to get in and start next Friday but not counting on it.

It has been warm here the last few days but a lot cooler today - not good Teddy drying weather but good to take the trailer load into work and unpack. I have seen you guys have had some exceptionally hot weather - such high temps are so draining even when you are not already dealing with so much else. Keep swimming Hon ...and floating on days like today. Hugs and hugs 😘

Floating a lot lately @Zoe7 …..

Re: Far and Away

Here's something to help with that @Faith-and-Hope 😁💖

Re: Far and Away

Home finally @Faith-and-Hope Trailer load taken into the classroom and one of the lovely school attendants helped me unpack it all. There is virtually no room left to take in anymore unless I carefully stack things on top of other things. I have left enough room to get to the kids new books so after my GP appointment on Friday I will take those out onto our deck and sort them out. We have a beautiful covered deck and garden outside our rooms (wish I could show you 😔) so even if it is raining I can still do that job. I am pretty exhausted now so am going to feed the fur babies, pack away the cover and straps off the trailer, have a shower and then settle in for the evening.

Hi @HenryX 😁

Re: Far and Away

Just got a message from my GP clinic to make an appointment ASAP to see my GP about my test results @Faith-and-Hope I called and they have said Friday (when I had an appointment already) is soon enough. If it was really urgent my GP would no doubt have called directly so whilst it is concerning there is nothing I can do though right now so trying not to worry too much. 😔

I have cleaned up the trailer things, fed the fur babies and 'rescued' the teddies off the clothesline before the rain comes. They are now squished (cosily lol) into boxes and put aside for when I can take some of them into school. I have also pulled out my peacock painting and set up in the loungeroom ...just might do some of it if it is right there looking at me 😁

Now though - going to snuggle with Tobes for a while then watch the tennis tonight ...everything else can wait 👍

How are you going this afternoon Hon? Any resolutions to any of your legals?

Re: Far and Away

Hopefully, if it’s okay to wait until Friday @Zoe7, it’s good news in that they have found something they can resolve for you.

Watching a movie to try to distract.  No solutions here yet.

Re: Far and Away

I am thinking the same @Faith-and-Hope My results have been up and down and all over the place for a while - that is why I am having regular tests - so just wait and see 👍

What movie are you watching?

Re: Far and Away

An ocean fantasy movie @Zoe7 …..
