Another pyjama day @Zoe7.  We have use of a pool here where we are staying so I am about to drag my bathers on and go cool off with D2.  It’s exercise for both of us.  Sometimes I swim a bit.  Other times I just soak.  If it hasn’t been a hot day the water is freezing, so we only really have these summer days to make use of it.  We are not anywhere near the river here, so it is comforting to be able to look out onto water anyway.  I have a puddle 😏

I hope your soak in the pool was relaxing yesterday @Faith-and-Hope I have no doubt you miss being by the river but having that 'puddle' is something at least. 

Have struggled through today but managed to unpack a couple more boxes at work and arrange a little more of the classroom. I plan to have it all done by the end of next week then I can have some time to relax a little and do some things around the house when I get home each day. 

The kids are starting to settle in and becoming a little less 'energised' lol It takes time for them to adjust being back at school and for then to learn and follow routines - small steps so far but it is moving in the right direction. It has certainly been tiring but they are a lovely bunch of kids 😁

Having a little rest at the moment before I begin sorting out some more school stuff. I have already done the shopping and been to the chemist so this weekend I will be able to stay home. I was going to go to my parents' and sister's tomorrow but I need some time just being home with my fur babies and getting more work done.
