Today was a little easier @Faith-and-Hope but still an amazing level of support. We do not often have that when things seem to be going better but it was made very clear today that those 'in charge' are there for me anytime ...it was nice to hear and continued to re-enforce just how caring and compassionate our leaders are at this school - and how pathetically inadequate that leadership has been previously (I always knew that but having such wonderful people around me now that continue that support is proof that there is good in this world).

Had a better day today @Snowie Things seem to be sorting themselves out with a lot of help and support from my team leader and acting principal. It has been a very tough couple of weeks but they have both been amazing and gone above and beyond to support me. Had a great day with the kids though - planning went out the window even before recess as we detoured along with the questions and interests the kids were showing. Those days are the best as the kids find their own way around and produce work in such a wide variety of ways according to their own skills and learning styles. We had some painting, some making models and some just researching what they found interesting. The best thing is watching those that don't usually work together enthralled in conversations, watching videos they have found and then asking further questions. We have a large question mark on the wall which is now covered with sticky notes with questions on them ...going to take us all year to get through them lol

I am glad you had a good day with the kids today @Zoe7 Sounds like they enjoyed it, which is so good for their learning.

Also happy to hear that you have support around you hon. It makes such a difference for us.

Hopefully you don't have too much to do tonight and can have some time to yourself.

I do have a lot to do tonight @Snowie as I have been falling behind with everything happening over the last couple of weeks. We have a meeting after school tomorrow so I won't have a lot of time - so the more I can get done tonight, the less I will have to do tomorrow night. I am helping with some IT stuff in my non-contact time tomorrow - repaying some of the kindness and support of my team leader so that is important to me. 

Have already had dinner though as I made enough last night for today also. I think tomorrow night I might grab something on the way home so I don't have to cook - that will free up a little more time ...no cooking also means no cleaning up 👍 I also have to buy Toby food so can do both at the same time.

How are you going Hon - I have seen it has been a hard few weeks for you also. How is you D?

Hoping you can get it done tonight hon @Zoe7 A teachers work often seems never to end, just keeps going and going.

D is fine now. Had some tests done and they came back all clear so that is good. She just needs to catch up on some sleep and school work. It has been a few hard weeks. Hopefully things get a little better and some things can be sorted out.

So pleased to hear the good news about D @Snowie Such a worry for you on top of everything else Hon ...but hopefully the worst is behind you for now and you can find some way to move forward. It is so hard when one thing comes on top of another but you are so strong and continue to get through everything thrown at you 💙💙💙

Hopefully so @Zoe7 It just seems to keep coming at me. Does certainly test our strength and patience.
