Yeah I get that @MDT We can be ourselves here and be accepted and supported. The real world seems to always be moving at such a fast pace that it is often hard to catch our breathe. I am certainly much happier and safer being on my own and don't often feel lonely but hear you on how you are feeling. Hopefully this new job will open up some further avenues for you to connect with people, meet new people and maybe even find others you have things in common with and can develop some friendships out of it.

@Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Snowie @MDT @Adge @Sans911
Came home today at lunch time to pick up a couple of things for school and guess what I was greeted with ...yes it was Toby's jumpy self but behind that allllll throughout the house were little white polystyrene balls. Toby had found the packet in the box I had them in, somehow opened the packet (without breaking it) and must have had the time of his life playing with all the balls - hallway, loungeroom, bedroom, spare room and even in the bathroom lol That'll teach me not to leave balls where he could find them hey!

It is a bummer about no-one your age in this new space @MDT but much like the job hunt - you will get there. Having money come in and the opportunity to do more will hopefully give you a little more independence. I very much like my own space - prefer it actually - but there can be a balance. You do get out with groups and have friends you see so that is a start. Often we don't need a hundred people we know but just a few that we can trust are gold.

Thank goodness it wasn't the tiny beanbag beans @Adge @Shaz51 He got into that bag once and they were everywhere - think I am still cleaning them up to this day lol
He isn't asleep yet but is laying down - just brought another ball into the loungeroom - must have missed one in the cleanup
@Shaz51 Funny you said it was snowing - we were outside measuring our bean plants today and it started to hail - it was THAT cold here today brrr!!!

Hi @Shaz51
Hope you get on well with DSP. My mother had it when she was caring for my father. I know it was a long process for her but she eventually got it. Took some work from his doctors and specalists.
Take care hon
