Re: Happy new year!

Well @greenpea  I am not a huge lover of new years resolutions as they usually go down the gurgler withing the first week of the year.

But I have been trying to lose weight for about 3-4 months now before my birthday in March, without much success.  So I am hoping I am thinner by then. So not a true new years resolution but that is as close as it will get lol.

How about you my friend? Any new years resolutions for the new decade???

Re: Happy new year!

@Scarecrowe  o0o0o0o0o0o0oooo.... I want to be as fit as I was when I was manic lol ..... I was so fit 😄 well close to it without the mania................. so I am being a good girl drinking loads of water and walking and eating good food :).

I must say the way you express yourself is infectious! I love it!!!!! it is getting the pea all reved up I might get off my rear pea end and go for a damn walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Re: Happy new year!

LOL!!!!!!  @greenpea

Well I am loving that I am getting the pea all revved up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could rev myself up and get off my rear end and go for a walk rather than eating a toblerone and drinking baileys  Smiley Sad....................my diet has gone down hill the last few weeks, and xmas does not help.

I hope you get as fit as you were.  It is not easy and I admire anyone who achieves their goals when it comes to weight loss and fitness.

I have two months to go from a size 14 to a size 8-10 like I was in my early - mid 20's.  Yep sounds easy on paper lol.................................

ok you have given me some rev up my friend..............i have gotten off my butt and got a bottle of water out of the fridge....................Smiley LOL

Re: Happy new year!

NY Resolutions @greenpea Colonise a new planet? Leave this Merrry-Go-Round Planet (life) Behind?

Seriously, yes I know the Steps (Goals) have to be Smaller & more Manageable......

Re: Happy new year!

Hey @Scarecrowe You just said your Birthday is in March too (so is mine).

On March 15th I turn 51.

Excellent, I now have a co-March Birthday friend/ associate....

Living on my own with no big Christmas eating (or unhealthy food Gatherings) - means that I ate basically the same as I always eat (Vegetarian).

Just a few extra Sweetie things (not much).

I'm not much of a sweets person anyway - prefer savouries.

Re: Happy new year!

Hey another March person @Adge   very nice

On March 4th I will 50!!!!!!!!!!!   Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly I have a massive sweet tooth, love chocolate especially and potatoe chips.

So I am not the skinny person I used to be.  I stayed the same weight for so many years and then the mid 20's hit and my waistline started expanding and has been doing so ever since.

So for my 50th I would like to be skinnier than I am now but not having a lot of luck.  I have no will power and find excercising extremely boring, not a good combo.  And because I live on my own too, I have no one pushing me.  I have to rely on myself which is not a good person to rely on lol.

Re: Happy new year!

@Scarecrowe @Adge  Hey Scarecrowe and Adge my walking partner has the flu and cannot walk with me tomorrow:o...... what should I do should I brave a walk by myself? or should I leave it until she gets better 🙂

Re: Happy new year!

That is not good for your friend in having the flu......especially in this weather @greenpea

Well I will sit on the fence here...............if you really don't feel comfortable in going alone don't go, but if it does not bother you going alone, by all means do it, even if you only do a shorter walk for that reason.

Does that help??????????????

Probably not lol

Re: Happy new year!

@Scarecrowe  Hey Scarecrowe yes it has helped 🙂 I will wait and see how I feel in the morning. If it is smokier then I wont go but if it is cooler I probably will :D. Thanks Scarecrowx

Re: Happy new year!

I am glad I had a few words of wisdom for you @greenpea lol

Oh yes the smoke, I had not thought of that, especially since I am not sure where you live.  Not a good idea to be breathing that in, so yes stay indoors if it is too smokey.
