Yes @Former-Member  you would not want to be drinking and then driving all the way home back then.   and as you said too far for walking or too expensive for taxis.

I detest drink driving massively!!!!!  and nowadays drug driving too!!!!

I know can't believe I made it this far, thought I would crash hours ago lol.

good thing I am not working tomorrow, I can sleep in.

Yep that would do it @Former-Member I certainly drank more afterwards too so I get it. Then I stopped again and didn't really take it up again until I was older - now I rarely have any at all - the odd special occasion.

Shaz the birthday keeper knows my birthday anyway so does not bother me.  and if i happen to forget my birthday in my old age I will be reminded on here lol.

Oh yes nothing worse when fur babies wake you up when you want to sleep in!!!!

Yes indeed @Scarecrowe .  We used to live about 30kms from nearest small town, but much further to anywhere that had discos or nightclubs.  Mostly we just didnt go out.

I dont like leap years ... and this year is another leap year.  I remember the last leap year was a very bad one for me. @Zoe7   I really am not looking forward to 2020.
