Starting the evening with some BBL cricket. 

Maybe a game of beach cricket here @Zoe7 ? All in our PJs and onesies. @greenpea you are looking stunning.

I have Holly, as assistant security officer, patrolling the party area. And doing her usual meet and greet, where she has to run and tell me every time someone arrives. 😀🐶

I think @Peri 's pair of lovable pooches are on beach patrol, as they are our lifeguards for the night. If you cannot stay all night Peri, will they stay without you?

Toby, @Zoe7 's adorable fluffball, has everything under control here I see.

Here's hoping everyone here on SANE has a safe New Year. I couldn't help but giggle at the 2020 optometry jokes!  

I just caught sight of Peter Helliar on The Project being kissed by my favourite singer, that made me giggle too (they had a year in review thing on). 

I'm wearing a silly Happy New Year hat and am trying to get in the spirit of things. 

I must say I am disappointed in my local council going ahead with their fireworks despite a High Fire Danger. I was hoping (and so were thousands of petitioners) that it would be shelved this year in light of so many suffering throughout Australia this New Year's Eve. I think the monies could have been better spent on those facing catastrophic drought and fires.
