good to see you too @PeppyPatti 💓

Re: Tell us: What bought you to SANE?

I love you @Faith-and-Hope

Did you know, now I'm more aware of your past circumstances of what you used to be like ?

At the beginning -- You were like a little bird inside a car trying to fly out.

I'm mindful I'm in the same room as my two budgies who fly around our unit.

today - as well as I'm going through a release of huge stress from the past -- I feel you have already  moved on from this

Sometimes I think ' sane forums give me @Jacques phone number - he understands me

Give me @outlander number she understands me ! Let me meet @Faith-and-Hope for a cuppa she knows me

But this is my natural outgoing personality. I get it.

This is what throws me into utter confusion of stress -- I'm not taking care of me.

And then I realise this is my life. Iv got to learn my own path.

Iv got to be the best I can be by staying safe-  by learning to keep myself calm by learning how to lean on who iv got around m. My natural inclination is to dive in to meeting people and look what it does to me - I say things I don't mean to say - I get myself all confused and highly stressed -

Re: Tell us: What bought you to SANE?

Wow, what a great question! Looking back, I joined Sane in 2020. I am not entirely sure what caused me to join, it's been a while and I've slept since then 😂

I started participating last year when I was having trouble processing the end of a long term friendship that involved two children who were my Godchildren.

I started chatting with a couple of people who sadly are no longer on Sane and I regularly wonder what happened to them, whether they are coping and to be blunt, whether they are still breathing.

I guess if there was one thing I could change about Sane it would be that when a person leaves or is paused temporarily or permanently that those who have had an interaction with them could be advised that they are no longer on the forums.

I am grateful to the hardworking behind the scenes teams, the peer guides, supports etc (forgive me for not remembering the correct terms team, I hope y'all know who I mean) and for the lovely family who lifts me, cries with me and hugs me each day.

And to finish off this long winded post, I echo the sentiments of the great Jeff Fenech
