Re: Riding a wave

@Phoenix_Rising I would be honoured to be on the same wavelength as you, I know I'm not . . . but hey, we see the same chickens in the bottom picture - I'll take that win 😄

Re: Riding a wave

Thank you for being you, @Phoenix_Rising. I'm super glad to have such an awesome acquaintance. 🐢

Re: Riding a wave

I see potential in the squiggles @Phoenix_Rising .....

The top one made me think of wjndows too @Former-Member, with its little squares .... but then maybe it’s a town of litttle square houses with triangle roofs .....

And the bottom one .... the C shape could be the start of a platypus’ bill, and the pouty squiggles it’s claws .... like @Catcakes said .....

Feeling for you too @Former-Member ....

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Phoenix_Rising 🙂

Hurray for the golden ticket in the Wonka Bar! That's mind blowing stuff for Charlie and his Grandpa Joe 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Former-Member it is super nice to see you out on the ocean this evening. Smiley Very Happy

We aren't up to Charlie finding a golden ticket yet. Yesterday TTT read the bit about the first two tickets being found and now it is the night before Charlie's birthday. It will be a while yet before we get up to where Charlie finds his ticket. Smiley Happy

By the way, I listened to Tabby McTat. When you read it to your kids, do you sing the singing bits? Smiley Very Happy

I listened to Room on the Broom last night, but I fell asleep during it so I don't know the end yet.

Re: Riding a wave

Hi there @Phoenix_Rising @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @ Ocean people Just popped by to say hi to you all here.

Been a most distressing day, lost the ability to talk for a few hours with the surprise thing that happened, but back able to talk again now, mostly. It's a long, long time since that has happened to me, not sure what the trigger was for it to be soooo very bad today.

Words for anything were not good when I woke this morning, I hope it's not a relapse of the illness (viral infection - shouldn't be) and it went from thinking words to talking words in a heartbeat. Still not good though so won't be doing much visiting tonight.

Stay well, swim strongly, and breathe .....

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Former-Member,

I'm sorry to hear that it has been such a horribly distressing day in your world today. Smiley Sad

I can very much relate to the ickyness of losing your words. Were you with other people at the time or home alone?

I super hope tomorrow is a brighter day for you.
