Riding a wave

Re: Riding a wave

I'm sitting at the desk in DBT adventure HQ @Phoenix_Rising. I've checked in my pocket and am not sure if what I am seeing are the remnants of exploding brain or just pilling from Dr Havetodo's funky hair.

You asked the other day about how I am writing my recap. I'm using email, which is how I lost it (as it didn't autosave). It's problematic as you say re formatting as email and forum aren't friends which I feel whenever I copy/paste from email to forum.

Your post has just come through. Seems as if you were sitting at the DBT HQ desk too 😄

I'm cool with however you'd like to go. My post is almost ready to put up whenever if fits in. I think the skills bit is where more people will jump on board, but I don't think we need to rush it and I see value in doing this to begin with for sure.

So go for it! I'm pretty sure this is all part of it! 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Seriously, I have to emphasise how really awesome I think it is that we both frequently appear to be in the same place at the same time doing similar things! So together but not @Phoenix_Rising 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

ok you 2 connected but not connected not-friends @CheerBear @Phoenix_Rising - as I am the odd one out here lol - I will follow whatever you two decide - seeing as I am still yet to begin reading ANY of the manual apart from the front cover (hahaha little Phoenix is still sitting on the unopened book looking at me Smiley Surprised) I will follow your lead (as long as you do not lead me too far into the cave where I cannot find my way out again @Phoenix_Rising lol)

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear You are right - I AM sitting in DBT Adventure headquarters. I super super super love the fact that you are too!!!!

I think that probably is bits of my brain in your pocket. Smiley LOL

Do you have WordPad on your computer? It definitely seems to be the program that is best friends with Forum Land.

I really can't process a lot at the moment, but just copying the bit from the manual verbatim has been calming. I will post it shortly. Smiley Happy

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 You are definitely not the odd one out! Odd, maybe, but not the odd one out - eek, I'm being disrespectful and offensive again. Smiley LOL

I haven't read your post of last night yet due to the fact that most of my brain is currently at the bottom of @CheerBear's pocket, but I definitely will look at it later. Smiley Happy

Re: Riding a wave

LOL - I love it when you are being - uh hum - disrespectful and offensive - especially when you are spot-on @Phoenix_Rising - me, odd - yep you got it Smiley LOL

It may take you some time to retrieve the parts of your brain at the bottom of @CheerBear's pocket (and I presume she will need to weave it back together too) so definitely no need to get to posts until you are ready - I do understand that 'Turtle Time' runs on a different clock that forum or real life time Smiley Happy

Re: Riding a wave

I'm looking forward to reading it @Phoenix_Rising 🙂

I do think it is important to nut this stuff out before racing in to the skills. I hope you find it helpful. There's a safe cave if it gets hard (and the SANE helpcentre on speed dial as you said haha).

I don't think I have WordPad on my laptop. I lost SO much of my tech stuff in the big bang, including all of my Office stuff and a heap of uni things. Even turning on my latptop and writing about a text book has been a huge step for me. Maybe the next step will be to look at Office (and into WordPad) again. I might need to pull out some DT skills worksheets to do that bit though 😉 (in saying that, it really has felt good to take these steps)

Re the brains, if I can make a pocket sized mermaid psychiatrist that does no harm, my crocheting ability is definitely at a turtle-brain-putting-back-where-it-belongs level if required 😄

Happy "What's the point Wednesday" Zoe 🙂 I'm going to head out on my "Wow I made it Wednesday" adventure very soon, so I'll catch you both later.

🙂

Re: Riding a wave

lots and lots of smiley faces for you on "Wow I made it to Wednesday" adventure day @CheerBear Smiley LOL

Re: Riding a wave

I only just saw the giant pink lots and lots of smiles post @Phoenix_Rising 😄 thank you!!!!

Thank you too @Zoe7 😄

Lots and lots of smiles 🙂 🙂 🙂

Better run now. Squeeeeeee!
