Self Harm

Re: Self Harm

Lol @TAB , 7am...  it's quite something,  then a midday nap...    I was sober from April until two weeks ago.   I did the whole detox thing withdrew with medical assistance.  Now I'm on the roller-coaster again,  I even attended an AA meeting on Thursday morning,  didn't last 24 hrs.

God my friend,  I'm glad you understand xx

Re: Self Harm

Hey @Zoe7   things have been crazy for me since I fell off the radar, spent 3 months in hospital,  now I'm paralysed in my legs and I have non epileptic seizures,  20 a day...   SH is bad today but poured a glass of wine to ease the pain.   But I need to find better ways of coping.   Resigned from the pool

Re: Self Harm

I did know about you being in hospital and your legs Hon Smiley Sad I haven't been much of a support for you lately but have had a fair bit of time away myself and a lot to deal with. I am working my way through all that and am in a better place now (just) so hope to be here for you more @Angels333

Sorry to hear you had to resign from the pool but you have so much to deal with and your health is more important.

I read about the NDIS not happening and you having to deal with an advocate and a review process - quite frankly I find that disgusting - you of all people should be given that support without having to jump through hoops. The system is ridiculous - it is meant to help those that most need it but people like you that quite obviously fall into that category have to fight to get the help ...makes me angry ...grrrr!

On the future...  I have an interview on Tuesday to start a degree in Art Therapy

Re: Self Harm

Hi @Angels333 👋  So sorry for everything you have gone through recently, and still going through now. Glad at least that your son is taking care of you. If you need a listening ear here anytime, please  dont hesitate to tag me. I am not on here much lately, dealing with my own issues, but I do respond to tags.💗

Thanks for tag @TAB and hope you are doing okay with work etc. 🐱

Hi @Zoe7 I trust you are taking the 3 day lockdown in your usual capable stride. 🐶

Re: Self Harm

I am saving to do the same @Angels333 I can't do it without some savings behind me - need to work less days so need extra money in the bank to cover that extra day. I am sending you all the strength and goodluck I can for Tuesday Hon - I believe you will be amazing though and this is something that you would be awesome at Heart

Re: Self Harm

yeah I dont know I went to AA a few times @Angels333  well a lot of times when went to live in non medical rehab 20 years ago

I stopped going to AA as couldnt deal with the guilt when drinking sometimes well was drinking, well not when actually at meeting

spent so much money and health issues yet still keep doing it as its somehow easier than stopping lol

Re: Self Harm

Hey @Emelia8 Really lovey to see you Hon Heart

Yeah lockdown for me is nothing different - stay home (which I do anyway lol), go to work and come home again. I checked how far Bunnings is away from me today (for something to do) and google maps says it is 4.9km away - so within our 5km limit ...woohoo!!! Just joking though - not in the essential category but I thought it was awesome it was just within the limits.
