I can see from the newspaper article, that you’re better looking than my ex and that candid smile tells me that you’re more intelligent 😇

It must be that wrinkle-free youthful face 😁  I did have to do a bit of modeling for the photographer... that photo must have been the one where she said "try to look slightly intelligent". 😆

Well, thank you @Lula, i'm not really sure what I can say to such kind words!  I'm very touched and a heartfelt thank you and a big virtual hug to you 🤗

Hello M. How is your weekend ? I’m sure you’ll do a wonderful job supporting and promoting PALS, the cause you set up - it’s very special that you did that M, special like you.

It’s been so cold here, yesterday and today. So hard to get out of bed both days, so I didn’t till late, again.

I’ve started this post and now … Im feeling so full of questions, and doubts, not knowing what to think or do, feeling sick in the stomach and wondering what tomorrow will bring and how I will cope. It didn’t help that I forgot my meds yesterday and having a dizzy spell before.

Thats all for now, bye M

Re: Depression anxiety

Hi @Lula

My weekend was pretty quiet. It was a bit cold her as well, so not much done.  Today and yesterday were much nicer so finally some sunshine and I got a few things done outside.

PALS is going well so far, we had our 4th meeting last week and everyone still really enjoys it and we all get on well and love our monthly get togethers and chats.

What questions and doubts do you have?  Try not to worry about what tomorrow might bring.  There's always stuff to worry about, but i've found it just adds too much to the pile to add worry about something that may not happen, so I'd suggest just wait for tomorrow and worry then if something happens worth worrying about.  Otherwise it all just gets to be too much.

I hope you didn't fall over or anything with your dizzy spell.  Do you only have them if you miss taking your medication?

I hope you're well and having some nice weather where you are as well.  It helps my mood to see and feel a bit of sunshine.

Hi M.  Glad you had at least an OK weekend, got some things done and sunshine as well.

It was absolutely bitter here over the weekend, like a mid-winters day, ugh !  The forecast is 5 deg tonight, and 27 tomorrow- how crazy is that !

the questions I had on the weekend are gone now, lol, but my main concern is not eating enough, I am just not interested.  So I think my dizzy spell was just a low blood sugar episode.

I’m pretty sure some of my recent posts were a bit OTT, but I was just trying to do for you what you do for us M, here on the forum. Nothing more complicated.

one way or another I’ve a bit to keep up with, more than I want, so I’m very tired tonight.

bye and thanks for your reply

Re: Depression anxiety

@Lula

Wow! 5 at night and 27 during the day does seem really strange.  I can't wait for some more consistently nicer weather to come along.

I get what you mean about not caring about eating.  I usually only have breakfast because I need to take my morning drug with food and I don't often have lunch anymore.  If I do, it's usually something quick, even just a banana sometimes.  Dinner I have with my partner so that's usually my main meal of the day.  I just find I can't eat that much though.  We probably both need to do better in this regard.

I don't recall reading anything from you that was OTT.  I know when I send you a message here that I will get a reply before too long.  That really does mean a lot to me.  So always feel free to just be you.  I always try to try listen to people and offer any thoughts or advice I can.  You've always done the same for me.

I hope you get a good nights rest tonight for tomorrow.  It sounds like you've got quite a bit going on.  As always if you need any help with any of it or just need someone to listen, i'm not far away.

Having said that, I may not be around tomorrow during the day much, I have my new counseling appt tomorrow morning and then to the city later in the afternoon to be in the background for the Channel 10 weather crosses.  I was told I may even get asked 1 or 2 quick questions.  So a bit of fun and something else I've never done before.

Take care @Lula

Re: Depression anxiety

Awesome @Lula.  Thank you so much for your generosity.  It's such a great cause.  So many men and their families, including myself, benefit so much from the services, support, and especially the research this money allows the PCFA to do.  Thanks again.

I was actually on the Ch10 news tonight... a quick minute or so chat during the weather cross to promote The Long Run.  The woman presenting the weather was so nice and helpful as I was quite nervous.

Re: Depression anxiety

Hi @Lula

I haven't heard from you in a while.  I'm just checking to see how you're doing... I hope well.
