Hi @tisme
I'm glad that you've been able to post here and share what's going on for you at the moment. Firstly, I just want to say that you're not alone, the forums community is here with you. Havins said that I can absolutely understand the disappointment of not having those you have cared for be here for you now that you're needing some care.
What time is tomorrow's appointment? Please feel welcomed to share how it goes if you feel comfortable

been a carer of family for decades, to the point that I couldn't have a paying job (was an ex-nurse) mum /dad/brother and daughter, first three are gone now. just me and daughter (who has had and has her own health issues, so do I now aged 65 I seem to have spent my life fighting one battle or another (a lot of it government agencies for help that never came). Friends I thought I had, I did till I was the one that needed help. Daughter now 40 sits at home doing nothing because of an idiot boss. this year has been an expensive one (I am on carers daughter is on disability. we don't qualify for govt housing because we are above the income limit. with my issues now I worry what will happen to daughter when I am gone. Don't want her to get mixed up with the guardianship board I have known to many nightmares they have created for people. So many carers like me will die caring. No superannuation, A lot is said about people my age retiring and such. Not for people like me. The government wont even recognise us as workers, because as they say " you do for family". I am burned out I go tomorrow to find out the results of scans of the abdomen to see what if any damage arthritis medications have done.
